KayElle #2

December 18, 2007 by thejessicat
All set and ready to go! She’s ever movin.. here and there! One minute back in Penang the other minute away outstation. This trip, it’s to KayElle with Benj –

[info]benjieos

. The journey was tiresome and boring but we recreated a whole new jolly atmosphere by laughing & playing around

LOL. You’ll probably see the rest with Benj. And of course, there are some of the niceys

We arrived safely *gulps* and were greeted by a familiar face – Jose!
What a babyragdoll hmm?

After ONLY less than an hour of rest, we headed straight to One Utama for some shopping. Here, there and everywhere! But looks like I have to put a -stop- sign on my wallet (due to my hazardous shopping activities last month) lest I become the next broke-to-the-core person.

Check out 1-U’s christmas decors: can it beat KLCC’s and Time Square’s?

Soon after, our tummies signaled dinner. Benj and I walked around scouting for a perfect place for our meal. p.s- My Benj being the dudu he is, walked into Chili’s and embarrassed himself by asking a silly question.

However, we did enjoy a fantabulous meal at Friday’s. That is THE understatement of the year.

Fattening? I. DON’T.GIVE.A.FUCK.ANYMORE
For those who know me well, you’ll be surprised I said that.

We got home and ka-plunkked on the bed. Goodnight all.

The next morning at an unearthly hour, we had to wake up early to rush (via feet, cab and LRT) to the U.S Embassy to pick-up Benj’s visa. This fatfatfattenned-obese cow of a security guard was so darn stern that he yelled at a poor little kid for innocently taking a photo. She was so frightened and ran away! I hope you won’t get nightmares gurl.

We then hit Mid Valley for more shopping, good food and to meet up our friend Jean and her boyf Daniel. Waiting a good whole ONE HOUR in Sushi King for them got us pretty pissed in the beginning, but it was worth the wait. Glad we finally met up, guys!

All in the mood for Christmas!
Oh, and we were at the Pet’s world soon after. Check out these felines.
They look like they’re probably fed-up with what life has to offer. poor cats!

IKEA, Ikano Power Center and The Curve was the next stop and we ordered a dozen of their famous curry-puffs for supper and breakfast tomorrow. Saw more pretty fascinating sights too!

wow. home. mine. future. must!

*screeches to a halt* WAIT! this reminds me of my dudu silly boo –
Exhibit A : A wooden model
of Hubby

Had some yummy home-cooked dinner by Benj’s aunt and now he’s beside me waiting for his turn to ElleJay. Aight, gonna go bounce now! Need to shower

It’s a one-way ticket to Penang tomorrow!
Had a great time with ya boo~

KayElle well spent!

December 16, 2007 by thejessicat

If I ever participated in a walkathon this year, I reckon that this was it.

Oh, and before I begin.. this is FOR YA Benj dear!!!

The moment we reached PuduRaya bus station, we insisted that we were to only depend on our feet to ferry us around. So walking it is… more adventurous anyway. Reminds me of the enthusiastic backpack tourists from overseas – albeit the loud floral printed shirts and huge SLR cameras around our necks.

Our walking didn’t stop when we reached the destination, instead the velocity and scale of walking had increased tenfold. Particularly the shopaholic me.

I could remember darting across one outlet to another and coming out with more shopping bags. KLCC was a never-ending shopping labyrinth and The Pavillion was absolutely gorgeous.

Christmas decors everywhere!!!!! Spread the joy of sharing & caring!

Ka-chings were heard over the counter whenever I was around. *gasp* Looks like I hardly even needed to bring anything along with me, as my shopping took care of all the clothes I needed. Namely, tops from MNG, Esprit, Paul Frank, Armani Exchange, Roxy, TopShop and I can’t remember the rest. Apart from that, I also purchased many uber cool earrings and gifts for my pals and Benj too.

Our walking clocked in 7 hours straight and we halted a cabbie to check out Petaling Street for more not-so-high-end shopping. Oh yes, the bargain palace. Looks like talking skills will come in handy here! I bought Benj and I some matching stuff and lots more gizmos. Benj decided to get me this matching key ring for our car keys – which I so love! *thanks sweetie.. mwah*

As usual, the place was streaming with imitation designer goods. I never once batted an eyelid nor take more than a passing interest. Somehow, it’s just against my self-principles to purchase a counterfeit designer product and parade it proudly like it was genuine because I acknowledge the fact that I have not achieved that comfy financial status yet. I mean, who are they fooling? Wake up superficials– there are many who CAN tell the difference. People actually work their asses off to earn the means and yes, they are the ones who can afford and deserve to don these designer merchandise. A piece of advice? Don’t flaunt a rip-off to boost your phony ego.

Back at the hotel after hours of walking, we devoured some thosai as thought it was the last piece of edible material on planet earth. Emulating starved pigs perhaps? Haha

We then camwhored the night away just before we ka-plunked to sleep

The next morning, (gahh I hate mornings) we covered Sungei Wang Plaza and Lot 10. More shopping madness – I bought lotsa graphic tees! Luvvem! Starhill was the absolute bomb. Period.

Bus Eleven (our feet, for those not in the know) took us around town and we did lotsa sight-seeing

Kid lost in the big city?

Haha. Nah, she found her way and we dined in Planet Hollywood soon after

————NEWSFLASH—————–

my mother has caught my viral infection of camwhoring!

Check this out!

Muahahaahahaahahaha. Now, I’ve got a new cam-whore partner! Benj shall be infected next! =P

———————————————–

Anyway, as I was saying *grins*

What happened next? Me, Mikey and Mum then got back to the hotel room to freshen up. Time to get ready forthe KayElle night scene with Mikey’s friends!

I’m proud to introduce you my mom.. she rocks and she’s the mother I own that will make you envy me.

****More pix in my faceB!

The next morning, we had to leave early lest the traffic jams will hinder our journey home.

Guess what I saw? Future Einstein in the making! Check out the KERAJINAN trait.

Toodles.

p.s – I think my hamstrings are having a mind of its own now. Gosh.

LIMA – let's invent many adventures!!!!

December 10, 2007 by thejessicat

Tired. but so thrilled and satisfied.. seriously, that was one of the best adventure trips of mine this year! Could be better, due to our gang’s budget constraints… but it was tha bomb nevertheless!

The ferry ride was breathtaking enough with a picturesque sunrise scenery. I felt like I was in an updraft because the winds blew at God-Knows-How-Many-Knots-per-Hour! After the ferry ride across to the peninsular, we then brandished our map and were armed with nothing but the clothes on our back.

Hmm.. which way to Kuala Muda?

We arrived at the harbour all hyped up and engines were ready to blast! It was in the afternoon sun and boy, were we flushed!

Ready for an action-packed journey!

It’s an explorace Malaysia for us.. and yea, three in this female team.
Geography suddenly came in handy, huh babes?

In the ferry : When the boredom gets tough, the Gurls will always be gurls (guys included!)

-Cam-whore session-

Before we knew it, it’s touch-down!

The Rent-a-Car hell sucks! And the weather was merciless! They charged us 80 friggin bucks for a Proton Wira with extremely low fuel! Haha. oh what the hell, right? It’s all part of the adventure… they don’t call it Survivors for no reason Despite the frustration, we made use of the sunlight and did whatever that made us happy.

Why, thank you Mother Nature.

After filling up the fuel, we then adjourned to the Mahsuri exhibition centre in Padang Mat Sirat for the LIMA shows and displays. *sigh* we still did lose our way for a moment even with the help of a map. Thank goodness a good Samaritan helped us with the directions

Yes, we know we are Geographically challenged.
Ya have a problem with that? *grin*

Terima kasih Encik!!

Hence the success of arriving in time.

The exhibition was indeed marvelous. You could tell in my previous post that I was extremely excited and revved up, couldn’t ya? I couldn’t get to upload any piccies then due to the restrictions of the bluetooth technology in that random laptop.

yay!! We received lotsa freebies too!

*squeals* We met Sheikh Muszaphar!!!!!!
He’s ssso cute!!

Those were only a few from the inside… let’s take a look outdoors now!

Osama’s 2nd attack??

Muahahaaha.. we then went straight back to the hotel to chill. Played some card games and bet on alcohol, sat to chitchat until our tummies signaled dinner

Duty free shopping never felt this good…

Yummy cute miniature Absolute! I want it for my collection!

Hersheys makes me SMILE!

After puchasing all the necessary stuff needed for our very own booze and hangout session at Pantai Chenang beach, we drove straight there just before our lil midnight party

Love ya’ll babes! Friends since we were kids!

wtf??? lol.. I did not recall this pic at all.
Thanks Zoe! Credit goes to Kerwin for snapping this rare pic !

Everyone’s cellphone and camera weren’t exactly in a working condition the next morning. Probably recovering from hangovers just like we were. LOL. Nah, those gadgets of ours just had one too many gulps of sand when were burried each other here and there

Kuah town was the 1st destination for us and we did lotsa shopping there too.. woo-hoo!

My new pair of Adidas superstars

 Haha.. the new Adidas ambassador

Hiking anyone? hahahaa… Telaga Tujuh was where we headed to
and check out the coconuts!!

fuggin huge, no?
Compare it to our heads and then to yours

omg… we missed the ferry at 3pm and the next round is at 7pm! goodness me! LOL. While we kept ourselves occupied playing some games…..

My other two babes were somewhat bored outta their wits!

So we went shopping around again *grinnn*

Well at least we ain’t looking like this
She REALLY has nothing better to do too. LOL

6.59pm… tick tock goes the clock. 7pm!!! Finally, we then got through the customs officers, queued up and boarded our ferry.

Sayonara Langkawi!!

Thumbs up for us and our trip!!!
Love yall peeps – I enjoyed it hell lots

*more pix in my Facebook soon! Episode 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 altogether*

Right after exams!

December 7, 2007 by thejessicat

Andrea & I went shopping the whole entire day immediately after exams for the fun of it and yes, to forget our depression about Part C in the Public Relations exam. *yipes*

Catchin some shots with her new cellphone-

Browsed through this and browsed through that.. pretty lil things we saw, like those awesome stuff from Gizmo right Drea? I really love those adorable yet practical stuff – reminds me of the ones from IKEA

And we also crashed into Secret Recipe for some cakes! Ahh… the sin of sugar.
Burn off the fat tomorrow!

Later into the evening, I headed to eXtreme hair salon (Drea decided to accompany me as well ) to go for my regular hair appointment. I had a new haircut and chose to do a mild highlight this time. Yeah, I had the director to do it for me again (with an extra fee) My being particularly very precise in my description of what I wanted, and only he and he alone could do it.

Here’s the final result! I‘m pleased with the outcome

Throughout the period while waiting, we came across a few Digital Makeover articles while reading the latest Female mag. Sharing the same opinion – very critical about people who used Photoshop to make any ol’ plain Jane turn into a Runway model. Check this out peeps –

okay so yes. NATURAL BEAUTY is indeed the best.
We are beautiful in EVERY single way!!

The amusement of Sony E's

December 7, 2007 by thejessicat

Look, mom has just bought herself a new phone and I deign to tell myself how envious I am of her!

Well, actually I shouldn’t feel so as I currently do not have any fond liking of any cellphone in particular. I still love mine.. sorta.. until my eyes fell on this gorgeous pink beauty yesterday whilst out shopping.

How lovely!

Uhmm.. Christmas is coming. uh-huh.. yep, Christmas is near….uhhmm… Have you gone Christmas shopping yet? well.. it’s just around the corner rite? Uhmm.. indeed it is! *winks to whom it may concern*

JIngle bells Jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun
It is to…

Alright, cut the crap.

Brick is officially 1 years old. Yeah uhmm.. for those of you in confusion as to whotha heck Brick is, it’s the name of my dear cellphone – W810i. The name is indeed apt for him/her/it because him/her/it has gone through more shit than any brick at a construction site.

Happy Birthday Brick!

Him/her/it dropped on the floor, pavements, sidewalks, roads innumerable times, gotten wet a beach parties, gotten scorched at my outdoor events, gotten ignored during my exams, gotten in extreme close proximity of my sweat in the gym and had grown accustomed to my many idiosyncrasies of handling a cellphone. Yet it still remained steadfast and loyal by my side. Impressively durable if I do say so myself.

I thank you, dear Brick.. for not reporting me to your council. I would be charged with a death penalty for the way I mistreated you.

Oh and for the record, Brick had been taking all the lovely pictures you see in my blog!

You make me laugh all the time too!
I love you Brick for keeping me entertained with your technological features!!
Exhibit A
My sleeping cousin. Isn’t delightful how Sony E cellphones have such amusing frames?

Look at Exhibit A in particular
