Future Sound Asia presents David Guetta LIVE in Malaysia (Special guest DJs Alesso & Kaz James) @ Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia! | David Guetta Asia Tour 2012

October 18, 2012 by thejessicat

I'm still buzzing from Friday's massive David Guetta rave! My body hurts all over, but the pain is oh-so-good.

You know you've been to a hell of a wicked party when you wake up with a sore neck & shoulders, painful calves & aching arms. Friday night saw more than 20,000 revellers at the Paddock Parking of our famed racing circuit, the Sepang International Circuit.

I'm ready for a night of mayhem!

*disclaimer*

Didn't feel like lugging my DSLR camera around as I planned to party the hardest.

So all the photos in this blogpost are taken by the iPhone 4S

Selca while waiting for boyfieKon to get ready – one of the rare moments I'm

ready before him because I've got so little clothes on LOL :P

When it rained all day on Friday, I was fully prepared to rave the night away away nonetheless.

Double outfit of the day!

I chose a rainbow-coloured coordinate while boyfieKon wore his comical Futurama tee

Come rain or shine, the show must go on, yes?

But thankfully, the EDM gods must've heard our plight & stopped the rain before the event even began!

I headed down to Sepang with boyfieKon along with my buddies Larry & Sabrina.

The crowd

We missed local electro-techno DJ Xu & Australian DJ Kaz James' set upon arrival. Bummer! :/

But we managed to watch the full set of Alesso, David Guetta & our homeboys DJ duo Blink & Goldfish.

The very second I arrived, I put on my Ray-Bans & dived straight into the raging mosh pit, as usual!

What's a rave party if you sit at the sidelines and not get down raving, jumping, shuffling, headbanging your heart out? I just had to. The atmosphere was beckoning me – couldn't resist!

We were trying hard not to get pushed and shoved even more when we took this photo! :D

Shakey shakey!

boyfieKon and I at the crazy mosh pit!

Alesso was spinning while I was springing along with full gusto!

The energy in me was roaring to go all out tonight.

I went beserk when 'Raise Your Head' was playing LIVE before me.

Oh Alesso!!

Met up some friends at the mosh pit and I was so stoked! :D

What are the odds? Bumping into your friends in a sardine-packed crowd of tens of thousands?

Buddy Hisham was one of them :D

So glad to bump into buddy Anis at the mosh pit!

No, actually, we didn't bump into each other

She called to ask where I was and managed to squeezed through the violent mosh pit just for me!

Major love for my girl, Anis

I was actually surprised she was here!

Looks like there was more of a partygirl streak in her that I didn't know :P

More camlovin'!

boyfieKon joined us :D

Friday night was also the first time I heard 'Every Chance We Get We Run' – a collabo between Alesso & David Guetta – which you can check out on the latter's latest album : Nothing But the Beat 2.0.

Alesso dropped many familiar tracks including all his original tracks and shot us to the sky with the mighty ones that clinched the #1 spot on Beatport!

Do you remember which ones? The atmosphere was uplifted yet again with 'Years' and 'City of Dreams'.

Milkyway backdrop!

I looked up to the sky, raised my hands and sang (screamed, actually!) along to the beautiful lyrics.

Don't know about the rest. I was flying high as a kite to take notice of everyone else around me.

But I'm pretty damn sure everyone else enjoyed themselves during Alesso's set. I know I did

Loving the cityscape backdrop!

He ended his 1.5 hour set with crowd-favorite, 'Calling (Lose My Mind)' – a 2011 collaboration with Sebastian Ingrosso, paving the way our main headliner, David Guetta to steal the show.

We yelled for an encore but Alesso didn't return :/

While waiting for the next act

Moving on….

David Guetta's entrance was nothing short of dramatic. See it for yourself!

The helicopter-chopping sound effects & background music of his grand entrance reverberated from the giant sound systems surrounding the rave zone, invoking much suspense and anticipation from us all.

Thousands of us were chanting, "GUETTA! GUETTA! GUETTA! GUETTA! GUETTA!"

Finally… our World #1 DJ made his debut appearance in Malaysia!

He kick-started his 2 hour set with 'Titanium' featuring Sia which shot us all into a delirious frenzy.

YOU SHOOT ME DOWN! BUT I WON'T FALL!

I AM TITANIUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMM!

I then started live-tweeting the songs he played for my friends, readers & followers who were unable to be there!

The first 5 songs Guetta performed were :

'Titanium' feat. Sia, 'She-Wolf' feat. Sia and a remix of 'Quasar' by Hard Rock Sofa, 'Sexy Bitch' feat. Akon and 'Craissy 2k12' by DJ Obek.

The moment I heard the very hint of 'Metropolis', I went absolutely crazy!

I loved the song so much. It was a collaboration between Guetta & Nicky Romero

A colossal burst of shimmery confetti then filled the night sky as David Guetta dropped a deeper, pulsating beat to move our feet.

He sure had the bass tomelt the face!

Silly selca with confetti paper which landed on me

I traversed into a state of ecstasy and raved like no one was watching.

LOL candids that boyfieKon snapped

Being amongst an exuberant crowd jumping in unison felt like we all came here for one sole reason.

To gather in the name of EDM and muster all our energy to rave the night away

Guetta's crowd interaction was fab. He even jumped onto the DJ console and jumped along with us!

Among the rather touching and heartfelt things he said was:

"I'm so happy to be able to be here and play for you for the very first time"

"This is my first Asian tour. Looks like tonight is going to be the best night and the biggest Asian tour I've done. Over 20,000 people. WOW! Thank you for making it so special"

At one point he even brandished his French flag and waved it in the air!

Guetta also pumped up the crowd with his original tracks 'Sexy Bitch' feat. Akon, 'Love is Gone', 'Bad Girl'. 'Without You', 'When Love Takes Over', 'Turn Me On'. 'One Love, 'Memories' feat. Kid Cudi, 'Where Them Girls At' and a truckload more!

Other songs he remixed were 'Fix You' by Coldplay, 'Apologize' by One Republic, and I Gotta Feeling' by the Black Eyed Peas among many others.

Sillytimes!

Some of Guetta's older songs actually reminded us of our late teenage years where those famed songs will be blasting non-stop in all the clubs every weekend.

FLASHBACK!  Think 2009's 'Sexy Bitch', 2007's 'Love is Gone' and 2009's 'When Love Takes Over'

We sang along with him when his track went "I'M DAVID GUETTA, BITCH!" instead of "I'm in Miami, bitch!"

I found that very amusing; he was chuckling while playing that too. We could all see his smile from a mile away!

Here's a video I made of the event. Do watch it! I've spent quite a while on it :)

Watch out for the parts where David Guetta spoke to us in the crowd & jumped right on to the DJ deck with the explosion of sparklers and confetti bursts!

httpv://youtu.be/m5MYY3VX-UI

David Guetta & Alesso LIVE in Malaysia 2012. Enjoy!

As Guetta clocked in his last 20 minutes of his set, boyfieKon and I decided to withdraw from the crowd & *finally* help ourselves to some ice-cold Heineken, hang out with some buddies and get a comfy place to sit down.

I didn't realize we've been standing & dancing for more than 3 hours!

Hisham & us

Steve & us

Ben & I

Fireworks shot away from the stage and sky-rocketed into the air several times as David Guetta's set came close and closer to the end. It was magnificent!

Looks like boyfieKon and I made the right choice to sit back and enjoy the more laidback crowd at the back lounging around compared to the insanity of the mosh pit.

Got an official photo taken for us! :D

Goldfish & Blink took over right after as the closing act of the night. They dropped various tracks by Hardwell, Ferry Corsten, Tiesto, Swedish House Mafia, Knife Party and many hours in their 1 hour set.

The DJ duo also included a never-heard-before song booming from the speakers. It was 'Flags', their latest, original track produced in collaboration with Sidney Samson.

It's not out yet, but we all heard it first!

httpv://youtu.be/plGQNPnNCb4

Here's a little snippet to how it sounds like

We left soon after Goldfish & Blink finished their set.

Wasn't looking forward to throng through the crowd all leaving at the same time but we made it.

We had some dimsum at Jalan Ipoh thereafter… and its good night to all!

So yes, that made my Friday a notch more exciting than usual.

Raving & soaring to progressive, house & trance amongst 25,000 fellow EDM-ers.

A night of world-class DJs spinning, an impressive stage set-up & lighting, and good company.

Bring on the next rave!

Thank you Future Sound Asia for a phenomenal night!

ELEVATE KL hits the city! Feel the difference at Black Magic @ Voodoo KL

September 2, 2012 by thejessicat

Remember the ELEVATE : Feel the Difference party that rocked Penang 2 months back?

Blogpost – here.  Well, it has now made its way to the city! Check out Ipoh’s one here if you’re from the future.

At ELEVATE KL with my trusty plus one!

As we were there pretty early, I took the chance to check out the place.

Photos photos photos!

It was held at the Skyrim-themed club, Black Magic KL

The usherettes making sure who has arrived and who hasn’t

Wow! ELEVATE’s fully digital stage backdrop

I remember the previous ELEVATE being very high-tech as well.

Swirls of electronic waves and other dramatism flashed when the main act took to the stage.

Having my second (already?) bottle of Carlsberg from the free-flow that night!

As some of you would know, I held a giveaway for ELEVATE passes on my Facebook page.

Congrats to my 4 winners!

Here’s two of my winners! Dylan and Ragu

(I don’t know where my other winners are LOL)

Before we knew it, the crowd began to pour in and the party heat was rising really quickly! :D

Our charming emcee of the night Kylie Chapman welcomed us and introduced the first act of the night

She was aptly dressed in a royal shade of blue according to ELEVATE’s signature colours

Rapper extraordinaires, Canadian hip-hop godfather Vandal and word-blaster Jin Hackman, hyped the crowd even further and got into a rap-battle showdown against each other! :D

Vandal attacking it word by word at top speed!

Jin hacking at the battle not only in English, but rapping in Bahasa Malaysia as well!

They rendered me speechless with strings of words, requiring no pen & paper!

Everything. was. spontaneous.  I was amazed by their natural gift of the gab

Vandal & Jin Hackman gave us such an awesome collaboration :D

We had trouble hearing them at first, but as we began to concentrate, their lyrics were so funny!

Everyone was practically stupefied and entertained throughout their rap battle.

I actually miss old skool rap! And of course, Eminem 🙂

They then talked about beatboxing on stage and asked if anyone knew how to beatbox.

A dude from the crowd volunteered

And he amazed us all with his beatboxing and showmanship!

From old skool classic beatboxing beats to dubstep beats, this guy impressed us all

It isn’t everyday a random person – who was actually good! – from the floor gets up on stage to perform with the main acts

They then rapped and beatboxed together! Such a spontaneous collaboration

Jin Hackman returned on stage and rapped with his female back-up rapper!

I do admit, I’ve heard so much about them but never gotten the chance to actually watch them perform & dish out torrential combative words back and forth, right before my very eyes

Glad I did! Thank you ELEVATE :D

I even had a photo taken with Vandal!

While waiting for the next act, I had some party pictures taken with my friends.

What’s a party without company? Let the photos roll!

Good times, good times! :D It is pretty evident that we were enjoying ourselves a whole lot.

Good underground music, free flow of drinks & a good crowd

MC Kylie Chapman returned on stage and elevated our party moods :D

The next act of the night got me screaming and jumping frantically.

It was my favorite local dance crew, Elecoldxhot!!

I’m totally diggin’ their hipster, street style and brightly coloured fashion sense!

Such quick and tight choreography!

Their dance routines, no doubt, incorporated lots of breakdance moves as well

Don’t stop! Keep breakin’ the floor, you bboy! ;)

One minute they were dressed so interestingly, and the next, their L.E.D dance gear illuminated the stage as the lights turned off.

They remind me of some kind of electrobots popping, locking & dropping it on stage!

Those tight routines coupled with the shocking electro gear got us dancing along as well!

Oooooh and guess what?

I’ve got a photo with my favorite one from the crew! :D

Say hi to Chris!

It was past midnight, but there were no signs of stopping ELEVATE from elevating our night even further!

We kept pushing the party energy higher and higher

Photos! Photos! Photos!

Our next – and final! – act of the night was none other than the sizzling hot DJ Mari Ferrari flowin in from Russia

I’ve looked up her photos and listened to her online, she really is gorgeous in real life too!

She played an eclectic mix of trance, house and progressive big room sounds!

DJ Mari Ferrari shot the party to full swing!

She not only has a beautiful demeanour, but talents on the turn-table to boot!

Here’s another photo of her just because. *wink* ;)

I had a great time that Saturday night!

Theboyf and the boys seemed like they had heaps more fun than I do, they got so drunk and hyperactive by the end of the night. I’ve never seen them dance quite like that before LOLOLOLOL.

Anyway, here’s a short video of the night!

(The footages of Vandal & Jin Hackman screwed up, to my dissapointment!) :/

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rKngsHZtEs&feature=player_embedded

ENJOY!

Three cheers for ELEVATE!

Thank you, ELEVATE, for another good shimmy-down time with my party mates. Till the next one!

Click here and here for Penang and Ipoh’s ELEVATE events if you haven’t done so already.

The trilogy continues… super-clubbing phenomenon Hennessy Artistry KL 2012 is back with a bang in KWC, Kuala Lumpur

August 30, 2012 by thejessicat

If you haven't viewed my previous blogpost about the exceptionally epic Hennessy Artistry Penang 2012, I suggest you do *grins*

Jam-packed with photos and a narration of what happened, it's something you shouldn't EVER miss if you wanna know what went down at the party.

Enough fluff. Read it – here *clickety click*

For the seasoned Hennessy Artistry partygoers, you’ll know what to expect!

And for first timers, you’re in for a real treat, as Hennessy never disappoints.

Yup. Believe it. Hennessy Artistry is back!

Fresh off the island waves of Penang, Hennessy Artistry is roaring ready to tear up the capital!

The second instalment of 2012’s Global Art of Mixing Trilogy will be happening on the 8th September2012 on the 15th floor of KWC Kuala Lumpur.

Just a little peek at the interior of KWC KL @ Level 15 before Henessy's total revamp!

(Where is it & how to go there? It is located on Jalan Gelugor & Google maps link is http://goo.gl/wwLw)

This time round, Hennessy is more than prepared to host 3000 guests to a mix of world-class music and the trademark H-Artistry atmosphere!

Also, fellow EDM (electronic dance music) fans will revel in delight at the stellar line up Hennessy has to offer us next weekend.

From the interactive Hennessy 360 Panoramic Cam, to the plethora of drinks served on the night, you better be ready to turn up your party dial to the maximum level! I know I sure will

What do you think of the line-up this time round?

Personally, I was over the moon when Hennessy revealed their headlining acts for the evening.

Don’t know them? Imma introduce them to you now :

International vocal powerhouse Eva Simons is no stranger to the fans of electronic dance music.

This Dutch songstress is best known for her recent collabo with EDM giant Afrojack in ‘Take Over Control’ that we all hear permeating every dance floor around the world.

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Fe4dk0Jtcw

Come on, you've GOT to know this! :D

Eva has also rubbed shoulders with LMFAO, Will.I.Am, Kanye West & many others.

Okay, who's next? :D

Jakarta’s cult-status Angger Dimas.

The young electro-house DJ has impacted party people beyond the borders of the Indonesian club scene. Due to his deft talents on the turntable, he went international very quickly

This isn’t his first time in Malaysia, as I’ve personally saw him LIVE & raved to his intense set that,

I swear, has the ability to shoot every raver to the skies

Okay, next up!!

*drumroll*

Shifting more to the next generation and local hipster scene, are KL’s rising electronic dance nu-breeds B.A.T.E (Brain and the Eye) duo who will be setting the pace of Hennessy Artistry KL 2012 with a mix of big room, disco, techno & electro :D

Personally, I haven't heard much of their sets to shower infinite praises on them just yet, but one thing's for sure, if Hennessy picked them to perform at H-Artistry 2012, you know they're made of solid spunk!

Last but not least is…….

The hard-hitting, edgy and wicked DJ duo aptly named the Bass Agents.

Familiar to many in the hard style, hard trance & hard dance sets, the duo comprising Mr. Nasty & GuruGuru are well-known for firing the energy levels through the roof and pushing way past the overload button

Vicious, vigorous and very brutal, Mr.Nasty & GuruGuru’s tight basslines will compel you to relentless headbangs.

Are you excited yet?

Entry is strictly by invitation only.

To score your invites, log on to Hennessy Malaysia's Facebook page to see how.

All I can say is, expect a supersonic bassline and a cosmic night as these artists take us on an energy-driven musical evening with one-night-only collaborations, complete with powerful vocals & lashings on the DJ deck as well as free-flow of the delightful Hennessy VSOP and its signature long drinks.

I’m ready. Let’s do this, party people.

To Hennessy!

The trilogy begins! Hennessy Artistry Penang 2012 kicks off in style @ Straits Quay Convention Center (SQCC)

August 28, 2012 by thejessicat

Hello there my quaint little island, the blogpost is finally here! Sorry I took a while.

I may be late, but I certainly would not let a party as big as this slip away from my blog line up.

((STYLESHOT OF THE DAY))

TheJessicat wears: Red-Black Toga Dress by S.U.B |

Black Studded Bag by GUESS | Red Stilettos by Payless Shoes

Do you know which party I'm talking about?

Betcha do!  It's HENNESSY ARTISTRY PENANG 2012

The glorious Hennessy VSOP bottle & I, flanked by two lovely usherettes

This entry is a sequel to both my posts here and here

When I heard that the first of the Hennessy Artistry trilogy series of parties was set to rock Penang island, I was not only proud of my little island, but also excited that a party of such a scale was to be celebrated on the grounds I call home

Arriving at the foyer. I was taught to make my own Hennessy cocktail!

One of the usherettes (who happens to be a friend of mine) Jenny, showed me what to do

I was astonished to how Hennessy completely revamped Straits Quay Convention Center!

That very night itself, SQCC turned into a huge party arena hosting more than 2000 guests, complete with an all-new Hennessy Art of Mixing Zone, signature Hennessy VSOP long drinks and of course, the trademark Hennessy Artistry party atmosphere.

The classy lounge-foyer area for guests to sit, chat, drink and chill

before getting sloshed at the battlefield of a party zone

Pam, Jessmine & I at the Hennessy lounge ;)

My homies and I catching up over a few drinks that we were taught to make :D

Samantha & I

Guests could have their photo taken at a very interactive photo booth where several cameras placed all around the raised platform woulsimultaneously capture photos to achieve a 360 degree photo effect.

The girls and I atop the panoramic Hennessy 360 camera platform!

Really cool photo sequence, if I do say so myself!

Soon after, I made my way inside the party-zone

Spotted glasses and glasses of Hennessy on the counter all lined up in such a neat manner!

Got into my zone. The 'S' Zone also known as the VIP, bloggers & media zone

Our table was given a Hennessy VSOP bottle of our own with plenty of mixers to go around!

Hennessy Apple, Hennessy Ginger, Hennessy Soda & Hennessy Berry. Your pick? 🙂

Thank you Paul for a lovely photo!

with the girls

with the boys

When I got in, the first act of the night was already warming up the party scene.

Spin master DJ Ramsey Westwood (a friend of mine!) began the hype by dropping his set of progressive house & electro

Drop 'em sick beats like you always do, Rams!

Whoooop whoooop!

It was no wonder he bagged champion at the ASTRO Hitz Spinmaster Season 2.

As the music kept pumping and dropping at all the right places, we guests fed off the energy and made it our own!

Emcees of the night from MTV VJ Rich & VJ Holly Grabarek kept us on our feet & welcomed the next act on stage

Here are some party pictures!

Same high school back then; at the same party right now! :D

Collegemate Mikey and I :D

BFF Joyce and I  We go a long way back!

The view from the back of the crowd

Before we knew it, the next act joined DJ Ramsey Westwood up on stage!

As two is always better the one, both of them performed a stellar collabo act of beats and vocals!

Local songbird & 'One in a Million' winner Suki Low ripped the crowd apart with her powerful vocal chords

while DJ Ramsey spun David Guetta's Titanium feat. Sia

I am Titaaaaaaniiiiummmmm!!!!

She then continued with chart-topping popular hits from Katy Perry, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and even classic numbers by soul diva Whitney Houston! Suki hit all the notes – especially the high ones! – perfectly, it was mind-blowing.

She's on the edge of glory, you bet! ;)

A crew of dancers then joined her onstage and Suki also busted some dance moves in unison.

Such an electrifiying performance!

Her act stole the limelight for that moment and drew a heavy applause from the floor

We loved her and even sang along with her as she belted out the songs we knew of  :D

More party pictures?

We. are. Penang cha bohs! :D

MORE Penang kias!

Yup, believe it or not we were all from the same primary & high school buildings playing tag & hopskotch in our school uniforms a decade ago

And now we're all dolled up at the same party listening to the same music & drinking the same drinks.

This is why I love parties. You not only get to meet new people but also rekindle with old/long-lost friends!

For that I'd like to thank Hennessy, for making this happen :D

The third act of the night made their way upstage after Suki finished her show

It was none other than Asian Kings of the Mandopop scene – Lollipop F

The appearance of this dance quartet led to screaming female fans from all corners of the party to the utmost front as much their zone-barricades could allow them.

Another one-night-only collaboration was born!

DJ Ramsey X Lollipop F

With their very tight choreography, they certainly stole the show!

They even incorporated stunts, breakdancing & other daredevil acts too!

I was so impressed and held my breath for fear that he was going to topple over! *gasp*

He defied gravity as he went lower and lower and lower OMG

Lead singer of Lollipop F – Owodog belting out their popular songs

Coming from someone who doesn't listen to chinese songs at all, I was actually in awe at how energetic, charming and appealing their performance were. Good vocals, good looks, good dance routines, good stunts, good body unique fashion style – name it, and they have it all

No wonder many girls were hyperventilating throughout their show :P

More party pictures!

Ash and I :D

Vivian & I

Perk & I :D

Alex & I :D

Take one!

Take two!

The emcees came back onstage to have a toast with us – TO HENNESSY VSOP!

Soon after, they welcomed the next act.

Guess who the next act of the night will be?

It's the grammy-award nominated British Trance/Progressive music producer/DJ….

*drumroll* Andy Moor!

His set and remixes sounded amazing and even more so, reverberating from the state-of-the-art sound system!

He shot the crowd to a sonic mayhem

You can bet your bottom dollar I went absolutely beserk headbanging & jumping around during his set

Photos never lie, huh?

Andy had the beat to move our feet & the bass to melt our face!

Make way for more party pictures!

Can't get enough of Penang peeps yet?

Here's more Penang peeps for you :D

A party would never be complete without both my very special girl friends with me

For long time readers, you would already recognize them from all the photos:

Bestie Joyce!

Bestie Pam!

The night was still young, but it was plain to see that the thousands of partygoers wanted more.

We were more than ready to get our groove on to the final act of the night – Ernest C!

This cutting-edge house and electro maestro made us jump to our feet again!

He even dropped those wicked

dubstep booms from Skrillex and Porter Robinson!

Final batch of party pictures!

Thank you Hennessy Malaysia for an epic one-night-only weekend and an amazing time!

Bringing a stellar line-up for us, both international & local, serving us free-flow of delicious Hennessy shots & cocktails and a fun-loving, marvellous party experience, we owe it all to you. Looking forward to more of Hennessy Artistry! :D

Did you know that the next instalment of Hennessy Artistry series of trilogy parties is underway?

Yup, mark your calenders for next Saturday, 8th August 2012!

Heineken New Bottle launch party with Ferry Corsten LIVE in Malaysia!

August 2, 2012 by thejessicat

The world's #1 international premium beer now has a new facelift!

To commemorate their new iconic bottle design, Heineken decided to throw an epic new bottle launch party and fly world-reknown Dutch DJ/Producer Ferry Corsten down to Malaysia to shoot their party to the skies even further.

Being an avid fan of Ferry Corsten & a frequent raver, Heineken's invitation to this party

just made my mid-week more awesome then ever!

After registering my attendance & getting the stamp on my wrist, it was time to go inside the party scene

I was all set to rave to the progressive trance beats and bombs of Ferry Corsten with my mates.

What could be better than raving with ice-cold Heineken to give you that boost of rejuvenation you need?

The moment I stepped inside, I caught sight of the gorgeous new Heineken bottles in a glass enclosure.

Such a beautiful, sparkly display! :D

Heineken's new iconic bottle design

I wrote all about it here if you wanna know more! 🙂

My party-mates for the night!

By the time we stepped inside, the party was already in full-swing.

The music was resonating everywhere, the lights were bouncing back and forth & the crowd was pumping!

Partying to the opening acts of the night

None other than local DJ duo DJ Blink & DJ Xu of LapSap fame!

Sipping on my ice-cold beer while LapSap turns up the volume!

It was a delightful treat for all the guests tonight as the Heineken came in torrents of a never-ending flow!

Everybody loves Heineken!

Some party piccies of my buddies and I at the Heineken Progressive Tour.

Let the happy faces of the partygoers roll

Soon after, our MC of the night –  MTV VJ Utt, welcomed us all again and gave a toast to Heineken!

HIP HIP.. HOORAY! To a successful bottle launch party!

Cheers! Let's clink our bottles & savour the goodness

We were then shown a short introductory video clip on Heineken's New Bottle.

I was enticed. It was really well done!

It was a lovely insight on the new Heineken iconic bottle design.

After the video showcase, it was time for the main act of the night

Sparks from the fireworks broke through the air and guess who finally made his appearance?

Ferry Corsten!!

Specially flown down to spin for us at Heineken's party,

Ferry Corsten's 2 hour set was roaring to go!

The entire party scene transmorphed into a massive indoor rave party in a flash!

It was insane. Totally reminded me of how good Ferry was!

The last time I partied with him was at the christmas party in Zouk!

Podium dancers then appeared with their rather flashy, neon outfits

and entertained us with their eclectic moves

Here's a close-up on the dancers! Epic costume, ey?

We be getting our kicks on to the lights of Electronic Dance Music!

While we were raving close to the stage, the security guards & bouncers kept ushering us further away from the stage and shoo-ing us to retreat.

We thought they were just being anal and a bunch of party-poopers but we were so wrong!

Giant spurts of fire burst out from both sides of the stage periodically

No wonder we were being shoo-ed away!

They just didn't want us to get charred by the immense flames!

Safety first! Why, thank you so much for making sure us guests weren't prone to danger :)

Okay, back to the party!

Ferry was as good as ever that night.

He played his well-known tracks such as Punk, Radio Crash, Sweet Sorrow, We Belong, Into the Dark, Brute as well as remixes of other DJ/Producers tracks such as Tiesto, Marcus Schulz, Swedish House Mafia, Avicii and many more!

We went absolutely mad headbanging and shuffling to his tracks

Stopping for a photo!

Taking a short break!

Draining our bottles of Heineken was a perfect way to cool down before raving again

Indeed.

Ferry continued escalating the party momentum to infinity and beyond!

Towards the end, confetti burst out everywhere

It was truly an event full of jubilation, celebration and merriment

Congratulations on your spanking new iconic bottle again, Heineken!

Thank you, I had a fantastic time being a part of your celebration tonight
