Orientation for the new January o8 intake was heaps of fun, not to forget the jokes cracked-up as well. Uhhm.. Kancil? Nice going Kumar
Two seniors from each intake had to participate as well. Nads called me up when my mouth was full of Sushi the night before. Hehe. No probs gurl. So yeah, we joined em. The juniors were pretty… say.. unmass-commish? Well, except one. Oh but then again it’s just the first week! We probably have not seen their fun-loving side yet. All I can say to the new batch is, we won’t bite! So let loose! Be as expressive as you want, cos’ that’s when all the creative juices will flow
Games were fun no doubt and it was sensational to hear the dirty lil secrets of anyone who took lots of toilet paper from the toilet roll. The more toilet paper you happen to pull out of the toilet roll, the more personal stuff you have to say about yourself. Guess what? Someone rolled out 32pieces!! Omigosh. And another rolled out 1piece! LOL you lucky freak.
We also had this game whcih reminds me a lot of team-building.
Our ‘eeyore’s shack’
We were given a few minutes and had to build a structure from straws and tape that has stability and creativity. Oh well, our group tied with the adjacent group so we both won! To me, they had more creativity and we had more stability. So yeah, fair and square!
.
The journey was tiresome and boring but we recreated a whole new jolly atmosphere by laughing & playing around
LOL. You’ll probably see the rest with Benj. And of course, there are some of the niceys
What a babyragdoll hmm?
After ONLY less than an hour of rest, we headed straight to One Utama for some shopping. Here, there and everywhere! But looks like I have to put a -stop- sign on my wallet (due to my hazardous shopping activities last month) lest I become the next broke-to-the-core person.
Check out 1-U’s christmas decors: can it beat KLCC’s and Time Square’s?
Soon after, our tummies signaled dinner. Benj and I walked around scouting for a perfect place for our meal. p.s- My Benj being the dudu he is, walked into Chili’s and embarrassed himself by asking a silly question.
Fattening? I. DON’T.GIVE.A.FUCK.ANYMORE
For those who know me well, you’ll be surprised I said that.
The next morning at an unearthly hour, we had to wake up early to rush (via feet, cab and LRT) to the U.S Embassy to pick-up Benj’s visa. This fatfatfattenned-obese cow of a security guard was so darn stern that he yelled at a poor little kid for innocently taking a photo.
She was so frightened and ran away! I hope you won’t get nightmares gurl.We then hit Mid Valley for more shopping, good food and to meet up our friend Jean and her boyf Daniel. Waiting a good whole ONE HOUR in Sushi King for them got us pretty pissed in the beginning, but it was worth the wait. Glad we finally met up, guys!
They look like they’re probably fed-up with what life has to offer. poor cats!
IKEA, Ikano Power Center and The Curve was the next stop and we ordered a dozen of their famous curry-puffs for supper and breakfast tomorrow.
Saw more pretty fascinating sights too!Exhibit A : A wooden model
of Hubby
It’s a one-way ticket to Penang tomorrow!
Had a great time with ya boo~
If I ever participated in a walkathon this year, I reckon that this was it.
Oh, and before I begin.. this is FOR YA Benj dear!!!
The moment we reached PuduRaya bus station, we insisted that we were to only depend on our feet to ferry us around. So walking it is… more adventurous anyway. Reminds me of the enthusiastic backpack tourists from overseas – albeit the loud floral printed shirts and huge SLR cameras around our necks.
Our walking didn’t stop when we reached the destination, instead the velocity and scale of walking had increased tenfold. Particularly the shopaholic me.
I could remember darting across one outlet to another and coming out with more shopping bags. KLCC was a never-ending shopping labyrinth and The Pavillion was absolutely gorgeous.
Ka-chings were heard over the counter whenever I was around. *gasp* Looks like I hardly even needed to bring anything along with me, as my shopping took care of all the clothes I needed. Namely, tops from MNG, Esprit, Paul Frank, Armani Exchange, Roxy, TopShop and I can’t remember the rest. Apart from that, I also purchased many uber cool earrings and gifts for my pals and Benj too.
Our walking clocked in 7 hours straight and we halted a cabbie to check out
Back at the hotel after hours of walking, we devoured some thosai as thought it was the last piece of edible material on planet earth. Emulating starved pigs perhaps? Haha

****More pix in my faceB!
The next morning, we had to leave early lest the traffic jams will hinder our journey home.
Guess what I saw? Future Einstein in the making! Check out the KERAJINAN trait.
Toodles.
p.s – I think my hamstrings are having a mind of its own now. Gosh.
Now that my Langkawi Expedition is over, I then loyally followed mum back to Epo to visit my favourite Godmum, Uncle Mike, Gramps and Gramms. We headed straight to
Fantastic. No one told me.
Sammie, Christy and I chatted for hours and ended up watching The Bee Movie. It was arguably nice to watch. However, like I’ve said before (and will say it again) I despise CGI cartoon animation. How did wonderful classics like The Lion King and Beauty & the Beast vanish? What, so now technology is too advanced for you to wield a pencil and a sketchbook to sit down and illustrate a character from a figment of your imagination? Wow. How I applaud technology with big, encouraging smiles. Uh-huh. The degree of how much little kids are missing out on goes a long way.
We then checked out each other’s songs and I found Bullet for my Valentine rather interesting. Evanescence and My Chemical Romance still rocks my socks though. It has rockish beats and it’s tainted with gothic emo. Ahh.. none can compare. I apologize to all those bubblegum pop fans out there for the previous statement.
Soon, songs turned into pictures and yes… what happened? Hahaha. Cam-whoring!
The birthday party was great with an (almost) balanced population of oldies and youths… oh, not to forget the in-betweens too. *grin* Jun Wai came and I got rather paranoid when he wanted to ‘play’ with my cellphone. Hmm… Anyway, this is Jun Wai. WITH. MY. BELOVED. CELLPHONE.
On the way home, everyone was in euphoria checking out all the piccies that I’ve took of the entire party and suddenly, hell broke loose. Goddy flared up and hurled rather nasty words to us for cam-whoring. Woman, if all of us don’t cam-whore to take piccies of an occasion, how is anyone to remember the fond memories and laugh at it when we turn grey? I don’t think you’d even recall this occasion considering the fact that memory can be a challenge to people your age. Yes, that was nasty – but only because you were in the first place. Be nice.
Anyhow, I had a fabulous time with Sam & Christy. I guess the next time I’ll be meeting ya’ll will be
