Our FINAL themeparty – Good vs. Evil showdown! | Black Cat of Spiderman unleashed

May 28, 2011 by thejessicat

As we approach the exams, this party constitutes our last theme-party we'll rock up at.

So let's make it count as the best! As Pitbull once said :

"Give me everything tonight…

For all we know, we might not get tomorrow..

LET'S DO IT TONIGHT!"

A combination of Good & Evil!

The theme for the final party was Good vs. Evil.

As you can probably tell by now, I've spent quite a lot for my other outfits for the last 6 parties so I didn't feel like going all out this time round. Here's a re-cap for each blogposts : Beach Party, Back to School Party, Fluro Party, Jungle Party, Fancy Dress Party & Toga Party

Obviously, I chose EVIL. If you know me well enough by now, that's my prerogative.

Ever since I was a child, I've always favoured the villains of any cartoon, TV show or movie

So… who am I supposed to be this time?

Although I didn't go into full cosplay tonight, my character was inspired by Black Cat of Spiderman

Should there be a next themeparty I go to, you can be almost certain that a full blown Black Cat will be there to terrorize you

Anyway, photos from the party!

Ninja-Samurai X Zorro the Masked Rider X Black Cat X Masquerade character

I watched as they played the insane, puke-inducing, deathly King's Cup again πŸ˜›

Finally ended up joining the game when everyone agreed that I will not get the King's Cup AGAIN.

Gosh, my luck in this game has been really bad all this while!

This game = serial extreme dares and many more!

Finally, Abraham was the one who ended up with the King's Cup yay! I won't handle another King's Cup anymore LOL

He had to down that massive mug – skull it all! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

After the game ended, camwhore piccies with my semi-drunken Good & Evil mates!

RAWR!

Me with Olivia – for the first time attending the parties with us!

She doesn't need to go dressed as any character; all she needs is to go as HERSELF and that embodies 'good' already.

Evil vs. Good : Black Cat X Fairy

Two Evil villains : Black Cat X Hannibal Lecter πŸ™‚

Another two villains! The Joker of Batman X Black Cat of Spiderman

Zorro the Masked Rider X Black Cat X Good Girl πŸ˜›

with Mossy the Ninja/Samurai! Are Ninjas supposed to be Good or Evil?

I guess it depends on who they assassinate then πŸ˜›

Pre-drinking party is over! My gurls and I all ready to pump up the partay πŸ˜€

Ohhhh but first!

A quick camwhore shot before I adjourn

After taking this picture, I noticed something was still missing

So I ran back home to wear a glossy cat-collar and clawed my fingers with black masking tape

Chilling by the couches at the party!

I just realized – WHY DO I SEEM TO BE CARRYING MY PASSPORT EVERYWHERE AGAIN?

OMG! Bumped into Laura dressed as the Tooth Fairy!

Hannibal Lecter drinking Southern Comfort behind us πŸ˜€

Actually, I didn't know she went as a tooth fairy, I thought she was just a regular fairy.

UNTIL. I saw her carrying a toothbrush!!!! Did you see the toothbrush wedged near her boobs? Bingo

With Laura & Kayla. Partied till the skies came down!

Party rockers in the house tonight! Everybody just have a good time

And we gonna make you lose your mind!

Oh, my expression is a total CMI case. Hence the big X there on my face LOLOL

Abraham looks really spaced out in this photo

Could be thanks to the King's Cup he downed earlier!

Don't know who these people are, but they look pretty damn awesome!

I reckon they're both Evil too.

Oh, and.. you know what I really hate? When someone else dresses up as the same character as I do – especially in a competition.

That's where you're being compared. Bleh. Like, FFFFFUUUUUUUUU *headdesk*

I've had this nasty experience once, blogged about it in a nasty way and caused a huge uproar if you remember πŸ˜›

Because I can *smug*

So, say hello to the TWO Jokers in the house!

They were like, why did you go as The Joker too? I'm gonna murder you scum LOL

But yeah, didn't really mind when I spotted Sarah as a cat too.

There can be plenty of  cats in the house – as long as its not the EXACT same cat! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

Meow! They say black cats bring bad luck, but I say we set the party on fire!

Random, candid photo. I think this was taken when I was dancing

Britt as the devil is behind me – probably dancing too

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FxYhdz-D0nI

Oh and check out the video! Just a snippet of the dares & how we roll at parties!

You can spot me the Black Cat somewhere in the middle dancing after the 2nd half of the video

The cast of Good vs. Evil taken on the dance floor.

We're running tο thΡ–Ρ• .. lΡ–kΠ΅ .. we gοt thΠ°t devilish flow
Rock Π°nd roll
WΠ΅ party rock!

My lovely bunch of mates who make my world go round

Love yall heaps!

The night ended with a blast. Who needs any more fun when you've got your buddies with you?

It's the company that matters most… THEN the music & drinks.

A great party as our last themeparty indeed! Can't believe I'm leaving so soon – in a month's time πŸ™

Bring it on for my final party with the bunch – My birthday X farewell party before I fly off! Can't wait.

Back from the End of Semester Uni Nyt!!

May 25, 2011 by thejessicat

Just came back from the uni night farewell party! πŸ™‚

For the first time, I didn't bring my camera to the party because I've got toooooooo many overdue blogposts already so I can't afford to take any MORE pictures.

Webcam fooling #1

I despise having close to 20 blogdrafts waiting in line to be published.

So yes, I let all my mates take the photos this time instead, while I had genuine fun.

Webcam fooling #2

Tonight was a great night as usual, my mates got really smashed and my head hurts lika bitch now.

But since no one's going to sleep yet, I decided to fool around with my webbie while chilling with the rest.

Look at Todd behind me

Such a photobomb. Grr.

I had Doritos and Cookies and Cream ice cream earlier.

Totally feel like a slice of pizza now.

But no. Carbs are my worst enemy after midnight πŸ˜›

Goodnightey folks!

500 days of Summer, Autumn and a lil bit of Winter!

May 23, 2011 by thejessicat

I must admit that when I first arrived in Melbourne, I had a pretty hard time adapting to the weather.

It was temperamental and yet excruciatingly cold when the sun sets!

They say its very likely to experience 4 seasons in ONE DAY. That's how unpredictable it is.

The sun shines brightly during the day but the cold wind is enough to give you chills anytime

And you call that Summer? Yeah, I arrived in mid February – when it was in the middle of Summer.

I'm sorry, if ya think Australian Summer this year is anything remotely close to any other day in Malaysia, you're terribly wrong.

You would never want to be caught dead outdoors in the early mornings

it's FREEEEEEZING!

As mentioned, it's not too bad during the day but being typical Malaysian, I'm so used to wearing very

little clothes that I actually forget about how cold it is outside

A random mini green pinecone we found.

Whose palm is that btw?

I spend the days indoors with my housies in the West

And my mates from the house next door!

Always up for a drink or two!

As fun as it is in the West, I spend more of my time in South now

I'm glad to have made an awesome bunch of friends there. Love them much!

The route between West rez & South rez

Sunny days for the Summer, but it never gets anything close to 25 degrees celcius

Chilling by South 9's porch

At the uni lounge deck with some of my mates!

From L-R : Levan, Todd, Devin and Deanna

Without realizing it, the days of Summer are over and we are now in the midst of Autumn.

The leaves on the trees has turned yellow in preparation to fall

Bright yellow, vermilion orange and deep, scarlet reds beautifully scattered on the ground

Different trees shed their leaves at different times.

This tree, for example, was a tad late in joining the rest of his kind, but boasts a beautiful, burgundy hue.

Walking by this tree after classes, I can't help but to stop in my tracks

and admire Mother Nature's wonder

One morning, as the sunlight peeped through my window and in the near distance, I spotted a tree with bright red leaves.

Seeing that red is my favorite colour and the fact that I never once noticed this tree just outside my rez, I whipped out my camera and bolted through the door in my pyjamas.

Excuse the straight-out-of-bed face and hair!

I just had to take a picture with it immediately πŸ˜€

Here it is again. The rare, bright red ones standing out from the crowd.

Be inspired. I know I am. ;)

As of now, it is nearing towards the end of Autumn and we are expecting Winter to arrive soon.

The days are even colder than before and the nights bring frost to the grass and mist to our mouths.

Every night hits below 5 degrees celcius and I spend all my time right in front of the heater now.

The roaring warmth helps to keep me from freezing my arse off.

Branches are left bare and empty for Winter

No wonder it's so cold. You can actually feel the chill in the air. I soon found out that it was already snowing at Bendigo, some 4 hours away.

I can't wait for my snowboarding, skiing and tobogganing trip up Mount Baw Baw with my mates in late June when the blanket of snow are inches and inches thick!

Here's to hoping it will snow in Melbourne city or Gippsland too! πŸ˜€

Not that I intend to freeze or frostbite myself to death, but simply because I've never seen snow before in my entire life!

Roaming the streets of Sydney: meeting Ivan the talking dog at Queen Victoria Building entrance, George Street

May 20, 2011 by thejessicat

As you fabulous peeps would've already known, I've been in Sydney for the Easter break

Took a million photos throughout the week -as usual,  I hope I won't take forever again to blog the whole thing!

Walked by the Queen Victoria Building early in the morning

Was supposed to wait for my cousins to meet me but couldn't seem to find them anywhere!

So I walked and walked the streets of Sydney… taking in all that this city has to offer.

It was huge and busy for such an early hour! I had to drag meself outta bed to even make my way to the city this morning.

T'was a slightly wet morning, with the pitter-patter of the drizzle from above

I've noticed how certain city centers like Melbourne, Singapore and Sydney has immense volume of pedestrians crossing every other street. Especially when the lights at the zebra crossing turns green, a human stampede will follow thereafter.

Unlike Kuala Lumpur back at home, where everyone pretty much cross the roads anytime they want LOL πŸ˜›

The city dwellers scurrying for shelter!

I soon got tired of roaming around aimlessly after taking pictures of random things and talking to random people.

So I retreated back to where I was supposed to meet my couzzies –

At the famous Town Hall steps! (it kinda looks like an ancient temple from this angle LOL)

Apparently, that's the common meeting place for everyone

So I waited for a bit and finally found them!

Couldn't recognize them at first. Bear in mind that I've not seen them in AGES. Like, really… in 16 years!

And they're already in their 30s while I'm still in my 20s. But we clicked instantly

Bernice & Kenneth are my eldest cousins btw (and I'm the youngest!)

They took me to where Uncle Shen and Auntie Julie were waiting for us.

As we walked, I couldn't help but to take more pictures of the sights I saw!

Ohhh lookie! It's the statue of Queen Victoria!

She was the longest serving monarch of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland during the 17th century

Right behind her, I saw a tiny statue of a dog by a fountain.

And that's when I met Ivan. Yes, say hello to Ivan the talking dog.

Make a wish & throw a coin in the well after talking to him

When the couzzies told me that he was a talking dog, I scoffed and took it with a pinch of salt.

So I went right up to him and said, "HELLLLOOO" for no reason

but had a shock of my life when that solitary statue responded to my greeting

Hence, the expression.

So Ivan told me his name, introduced himself to me and

went on about something which I don't quite recall anymore.

What can I say? I was still flabbergasted with what hit me, as I didn't expect it at all.

So yeah, the poor dog went on talking to someone who wasn't exactly listening LOL

Guilty as charged But if you wanna listen to Ivan talk, he can be found along George Street

I soon found out that my uncle and aunt were waiting for us inside Queen Victoria Building.

Grrrr. I walked past that place agazillion times earlier just then; could've just gone inside!

Here I am again!

it was very, very pretty inside… and humongous too!

Lotsa boutiques, novelty shops, deli's and the like πŸ˜€ πŸ˜€

I smell…. shopping!

Haha. No time for that now, for we're about to go sight-seeing immediately after meeting up. It's off to the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, The Rocks, Darling Habour, Chinatown and more!

More of that in the next blog-episode of this Sydney trip.

Oh but before I go, imma leave you with a fairly interesting (but offensive to some)

street art behind a STOP sign in the city.

And no, Christ, your penis won't be able to fit in the nail-hole of your palm unless you're well… diminutive in size.

Not that I would know, but hey, I'm just saying πŸ˜›

Behold the flames – how my friend set his hands on fire! The pyromaniac does his thang

May 19, 2011 by thejessicat

You know how momma used to tell you not to play with your food nor to play with fire?

Clearly, this boy never took the advice when he set his hands on fire

Yup… my friend Abe decided to showcase his pyromaniac stunts, one Sunday night

As we didn't have any deodorant spray in the house at this very moment of time, he made do with some house fragrance spray instead. The poor guy had to set his hand in flames more than 5 times for me to be satisfied with the photo πŸ˜›

He was paranoid, but still… brave. I doubt the rest of us would attempt something like that!

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U2wdtX9xUoE

check out the video footage of his dangerous act

There you have it, some courageous stunts to entertain yourself with… at the expense of the skin on his hands! πŸ˜›

But above all, you know what we were REALLY entertained with?

His fail face.

We giggled so hard whenever the topic of this photo was brought up

Definitely a perfect dose of laughter for the week ahead!

Why don't you try setting your hand alight as well? πŸ˜›
