A little background before we begin:

The afternoon began with a meet and greet session (that’s where I met all the nurses and doctors there!) and a delightful spread of delicious pastry laid out on the table for some light bites.

Yummy! My favourite was the variety of croissants.

Now let’s move on to the big, fat problem. Yes, pun intended. 

A glass model of a skin’s cross section was being passed around so we could see how the layers looked like and where the fat tissues are located.

I’m also gonna make this a simplified, no-fluff version of all the basic information you need.

She will measure and make reference markings on your problem area.

But my day got more interesting when they suggested I try it out. Not the entire process duh!

A week ago, I opened the floor for you to ask me questions regarding Liposonix. Many of you sent in your questions and I’ve just got round to compiling it. Here are the answers!

How does it feel like? Any pain?
You may feel discomfort, pain, coldness, prickling, tingling or warmth experienced during treatment. These effects are usually described as mild.

Any side effects?
There may be temporary redness, bruising, discomfort, and swelling.

I’m very shy. Can I do it very privately?

Yes you can. The only people involved will be your doctor and the nurses to do the treatment for you. All patients’ privacy is respected.

What are the after-treatment care needed?
No special requirements are needed. However, post-treatment care is based on the advice of your healthcare professional.

When will I see results? Will I get thinner on the spot?
Oi. You think magic spell ah? The final effect may vary with each patient. However, results are typically seen in 8 to 12 weeks (which is the time needed for the body to naturally process the treated fat).

Can I do it on other areas of my body instead of my tummy/waist?

Yes you can. You can do it on your thighs, butt or your flabby arms as well.

Will I die of heat shock or pain?
