Exams are over and the mid-term fever has subsided.

Even the results have been returned… well, some of them. So far, our batch only received our Organizational Communication and Copywriting results.

I’m pleased to say that I did well… happy, mom? =)

Anyway, that’s not the point of my entry for today. The point is the following question: Ya know how amazing it is observing the ways people study and revise prior to the exams?

It is.
And trust me, KDU Mass Commnunication students really possess eccentric attributes in their methods of studying.

Apart from fagging, singing along with the iPod helps too

And lastly, what can one do but to whine and release tensions before sitting for the paper?

Even the non-mass commers have their high (exam) fever blues~

At last, with our awkward but worthwhile efforts, we made it through the examination week.

Considering the fact that we only have an hour to write TWO BLOODY long essays 
that is expected to take up at least 6pages. 

No way hose! We ain’t typewriters!

My besties just rang me up this morning excitedly asking if I’ve received my results for this semester. They told me theirs and I felt a little shaky. I mean, what if I don’t deliver perfectly this time around?

Nah. I hope not.

Grabbing my cell immediately, I punched in the numbers of dad’s contact and waited in anticipation. Nope, not getting any respond. Whatever, Dubby and my besties then assured me that I’ll score a straight again like I always do. That helped a little.

After what felt like an entire day, dad’s text messaged beeped in.

And that was when my world disintegrated. Yes, plummeting down to the depths of no tomorrow.

No more a perfect score. No more a flat 4.0 CGPA for me.
Shut up all you morons who think this ain’t a big deal.

It is to me.

You lost an eraser. You cry and rant?
No big deal to me.

Perhaps, what I don’t know about that miserable eraser is that your late grandfather whom you love so much, gave it to you with his dying breath.

A MASSIVE DETERIORATION

A PAINFUL EXPERIENCE

Oh well, I feel 10% stupider. My intelligence has just been depleted.. just like the ozone layer.

Fuck. Oh wait, I don’t know what that means. I is stupid. *groans*

It just reenacts the experience of my SPM results. That God-forsaken A2 for Bahasa Malaysia. Yeah well, same thing goes again. The B+ is just like an A2. My string of A’s has been tainted by my utter carelessness. Or perhaps my stupidity.

Gahh. I couldn’t care less.

Why?

FOR i IS STEWPID.

Oh, before I forget.

Each day when I’ve completed my paper early, I would then leave the exam hall and adjourn to the cafeteria. Lo and behold! The moment I stepped out of the door, a distasteful and rude shock would stare back at me.

He looks like he was gasping for air in dire need of an assistance which was no where to be found. Any minute longer with non-existent help, he could actually say “hello” to Father Death already. Yeah. I stood there; dead in my tracks when I first saw it at the room opposite the exam hall. I stared and stared for a full minute trying to make out who on earth was that Godforsaken person, lying on his deathbed particularly IN OUR COLLEGE???

Placing my face as close to he glass window as possible, I started even longer in horror… only to realize that it was just a human dummy in a  makeshift ward, specially provided for the Nursing & Allied Health students of my college.

Dear KDU, Please. Please… do not do that again. This ain’t for the weak-hearted. *phew*

Yay! I’ve officially completed my first year! This spells the beginning of my 4th semester – 2nd January ‘o7. The freedom of post-exam is indeed exhilarating;  it’s only a few days away for the jam-packed adventures of me and my pals’ backpack expedition, LIMA air show, outstation trips, the merry joys of Christmas, and celebrating the New Year’s Countdown! Can’t wait to party and have a good time!
  We deserve it after the grueling final projects, deadlines and exam stress!

But somehow, I just can’t wait for my 2nd year at college. I’ll be taking Mass Media Law and Media,Culture& Society. Wonder what’s in store for me? *grin*

Well anyway, this time around.. Here’s my verdict on the recent exams-
News Writing for Print Media: Swell!
Film Studies: Swell!
Public Relations: Swell except that Part C will slaughter my grades and decimate my CGPA. Fo shure!
Media Research Methods: Swell!

Ahh well, I guess the only way of finding out my results will be when it arrives. (I will wait at my doorstep even if it’s the last thing I do!!)
