MEDAVITA Italia’s 50th Anniversary ‘Heritage from Black to White’ Hairshow 2013 | Grand Ballroom, Sunway Resort Hotel

September 12, 2013 by thejessicat

Hi everyone! Sorry this post took a while, but hey… better late than never, right?

So here it is! Medavita’s 50th Anniversary gala dinner and hairshow 2013.

As the party was themed ‘Heritage from Black to White’, here’s my ensemble for the night.

Jessicat wears:

Dress: Fashion bazaar in Singapore | Chained clutch: Tony Bianco Australia

It could have been just another usual weekday for me, but when Winnie dear invited me to attend this gala event, I just couldn’t refuse when I heard that she would be performing a live hair demonstration alongside famed Italian hair maestros!

And thus begins my Thursday night.

Arriving Sunway Hotel & Spa’s Grand Ballroom cocktail section

Bumped into buddy Leonard at the cocktail reception

Picture moments with the rest of the buddies – KouJee, Dennis, Jessicat, Tzia and Leo

With Edmund!

The gala didn’t start till later, so Tzia and I spent some time taking some selfies 😛

I know, how girly of us! Haha.

Entered the grand ballroom

The red carpet was fringed with display shelves of Medavita’s wide range of products.

I loved its neon, dewy lighting illuminating the product boxes!

Take a look at a few from the range of Medavita’s products:

I love their brushes! I’ve always used wooden brushes to brush my hair

and Medavita’s ones looked and felt great to touch.

Managed to spend a little time with Winnie dear who was busy preparing for her hair performance!

Thanks for inviting me, gorgeous!

With the man of the night, Stewart himself! Loved his demeanor; he was so sweet,

patient and down-to-earth despite being so busy taking care of the show!

Sat down at my table and mingled with the other lovely guests.

We had an 8 course Chinese banquet meal that night. This was the first!

The event began with Stewart kick-starting the function; giving us all a heart-warming speech.

He also shared with us what to expect from tonight.

Then we had more big guns from Medavita’s global team to give us a warm welcome.

The night elevated to a two live hair demonstrations by our very own Malaysian hair stylists.

As the event was themed ‘Heritage from Black to White’, it was only apt that the models came fully dressed in black and white as well! Throughout the live hair demonstration, a bevy of models with beautiful hairdos paraded the stage simultaneously.

Take a look at the first demo:

And here’s the second demo:

The second part of the show featured more live demonstrations.

This time, featuring golden touches straight from the land of Michelangelo.

Urban Nation, comprising Italian duos Antonio Squatnito and Mario Anicito respectively showed us a very intricate hair styling method using whirls of hair made into spheres. Take a look for yourself:

Really one-of-a-kind if I say so myself. It isn’t every day you see the making of bizarre hair updos like this!

I took the chance to really scrutinize how they did it.

Another live hair performance was next in line.

This time, Urban Nation showed the crowd a complete hair makeover from scratch!

None of those elaborate props were required anymore. They went back to basics with only their deft fingers, all the experience they had under their belt, and a pair of scizzors.

I particularly took a liking for their ‘chopping’ technique. This is when they part a section of the model’s hair, twist it tightly and began chopping at the hair twist profusely with their scizzors while twisting/rotating it.

It might sound complicated but I was so impressed by how they did it! I’m quite the fan of choppy, rugged and rough-around-the-edges hairstyles.  There will be a video at the end of this post, so don’t worry!

The whole team of models and  hairstylists with Urban Nation on stage.

There was a short break in between the performances so I took the chance to continue eating my dinner.

I was so engrossed in the show that I hardly touched my food!

We were entertained by Dennis Lau on his electric violin!

Look at him go.

He played a fantastic medley of classic and contemporary numbers.

Our next entertainer was Jimmy Sax, and my oh my,

I haven’t heard a saxophone playing live in a long time!

What was performed before us was indeed more than superb dinner entertainment for all.

A collaboration two musical instruments, the electric violin and the saxophone, by two talented people playing back-to-back hits from the yesteryears as well as catchy tunes of today?
It was divine.

While having dinner. Selfies of Tzia and I at the table.

We dragged Leo into the picture as well haha!

Stewart and I had a chat during dinner as well!

I told him how much I’m enjoying the night so far.

It was brilliant and I couldn’t wait for the night to continue unfolding.

With Crystal and Marcus, along with Dennis who has just finished performing!

Medavita’s Artistic Director and the star of the show, Mauro Lulli was up next in demonstrating his trade to us.

Having styled many well-known icons and the likes of Madonna and Elizabeth Taylor, to name a few, we were all looking forward to what the legendary Mauro Lulli has hidden up his sleeve tonight.

The Italian powerhouse perfectly illustrated a fusion of both European and English hair styles on Asian hair, using Medavita’s hair gels, wax, colours and hair sprays on Japanese models.

What I was looking forward to the most was the duet live performance of both Mauro Lulli and Winnie Loo on stage! They will be showcasing their techniques in the making of a hair-styling routine for us.

Mauro Lulli and Winnie Loo in the midst of their performance.

Mauro backcombing a model’s straight hair.

After achieving the volume he desired, Mauro began pinning her wavy hair back into rolls.

Winnie was literally illustrating a hair-raising performance for us!

Such a classy, meticulous updo.

If you’d think it’s impossible to get a beehive hair this high and this big, think again.

Twisting, pinning and hairspraying.

With a strong base, Winnie has practically completed it in what felt like only 15 minutes!

Well done dear! That’s why she’s my favorite hair artist of all time.

Many of you wanted to see the return of my red hair. Guess who was the master behind it?

Winnie, of course!  *hugs*

Her golden touches to my new red hair will be coming soon in a full blog post.

Models sashaying down the runway while the performance was in motion.

More models with even more interesting hairdos.

Such stunning looks. Their extraordinary hairdos complements their ballgowns amazingly well.

I’ve said this before in several blog posts: hair can really make a vast difference to oneself!

Mauro and Winnie having a chat on stage after all their effort,

while their models catwalked the fruits of their labour.

Hairstyle by Mauro.

Hairstyle by Winnie.

The final performance wowed us  not only with hair-styling, but with a gist of fashion styling/direction by hair maestro Mauro Lulli himself. He styled an evening bridal look which surprisingly, was very quick, simple, yet elegant!

Let’s start with the wavy updo. Lots and lots of hairspray and bobby pins were used to create this hairstyle.

After completing the hair do with the last finishing touches of perfection, he unveiled the black cloak to reveal a magnificent silvery-white ballgown.

That wasn’t all! The talented Mauro Lulli then whipped out a white translucent mesh sash and began to fold and tug at it. I couldn’t really see what he was doing exactly (blame my poor eyesight!) but here’s what he did.

Are you ready to see the results?

It’s beautiful!

I would never have thought of that. Doesn’t it look every bit of an exquisite wedding gown now?

It’s no wonder the closing demonstration drew a loud applause from the crowd and even a standing ovation!

Crystal and I spent some time chit-chatting after the show!

She’s adorable, no?

When everything came to an end, all the models and hair artists took to the stage once last time.

I was so glad to see them again, as I didn’t really get enough of the demonstration earlier! One by one, the models strutted their stuff and graced the catwalk with their perfectly-executed hair art, as I’d like to call it.

Check out the short video I made of the night.

If your imagination of everything I described didn’t quite cut it, you can finally put motion to my words.

[youtube url=”http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWvsbOeG4UQ&feature=youtu.be” ]

Watch this video to see how these hair professionals work their mighty scizzors.

I left the event feeling very honoured to have watched many talented individuals in the hair industry perform such an art, which is more often than not, undercelebrated.

Generally, the public often only appreciates the results of the trade – the final hair cut or hair style.

But what actually comes into the making of it? From what I’ve seen in tonight’s hair demonstrations, it is no less than true passion, skills, experience, creativity, and a good eye for trends.

Thank you, Medavita for showing us what an art hairdressing can be tonight.

And heartiest congratulations on achieving the 50 year milestone!

Last but not least, thank you, Winnie for extending me the invitation.

You were brilliant on stage!  And I had a great time that night.

Ombres Et Lumières! The exclusive preview of Longchamp Paris: 2013 Fall/Winter collection

June 19, 2013 by thejessicat

I’ve been bag-crazy for as long as I can remember. The bag-radar in my head scans and identifies every brand of bag in my direct vicinity and reconizes the name of its models too. I know, I scare myself sometimes LOL.

Needless to say, I was thrilled when Longchamp Paris invited me for a preview of their latest range at the Longchamp Paris Fall/Winter Collection 2013.

Brought Konzy along with me as my date for the evening.

Jessicat / May Sze / Joyce Wong

The evening was delightful. We were served champagne as we browsed  through the latest collection.

We were also served delicious canapés to satiate our tummies throughout the night.

Let’s take a look at their star product of Longchamp’s 2013 Fall/Winter collection, shall we?

Introducing Longchamp Quadri, the new everyday essential.

Quadri in its three distinct colours and three models.

Flashing my favorite in this range, the black pochette. Here’s how it looks like in real life!

The casual-chic Quadri is everything a girl wants a bag to be.

Crafted from cowhide leather with a distinctive crisscross grain, it feels supple and worn-in. I love the rock ‘n’ roll spirit of the nickel-finish hardware – the Longchamp signature, the rivets, and especially the cute metal plaque engraved with Longchamp emblems.

A close-up of its texture and finer details.

Three different models for different occasions

But what is fashion without function? Quadri bag will never let a fashionable girl down.

For every day, she chooses the Quadri tote, which holds all she could possibly need (and more besides). It is packed with practical features, including several inside pockets, two strong handles and a removable shoulder strap.

Quadri tote

The on-trend cross-body bag is great for hands-free days, while there’s also a spacious shopper and a roomy hobo with an ingenious adjustable strap.

Quadri Cross-body bag

And when she goes out at night, well, the Quadri line has the perfect solution: a cute little pochette which she can dangle nonchalantly from her wrist.

Quadri pochette

Effortless style starts here.

Charis and I toting the Longchamp Quadris and with our boys in tow wink

As you can see, the choice of colours is versatile too.

Each one a contemporary classic – from everyday staples such as Black, Clay and Ecru to vibrant Carmine and sophisticated Cedar.

The line-up of colours available for Quadri.

It is no wonder the Quadri was my favorite amongst the entire collection!

May 29, 2013 | Amazing new release by #Longchamp #Paris! Here are my favorites from their 2013 Fall/Winter collection! ❤ by imthejessicat on Keek.com

Apart from the Quadri which I could hardly keep my eyes away from, I decided to check out the other lovely bags on display. Here are some of my other favorites from Longchamp’s 2013 Fall/Winter collection.

Longchamp 3D

The Longchamp 3D line encompasses two roomy totes, both with handles and a removable shoulder strap, and a maxi hand-held duffle bag. Its 3D lines also gives the season’s geometric spirit a whole new dimension of fun and fashion appeal with its playful “pop-up” details.

Longchamp 3D in bright, bold colours

Next up, is the Longchamp Roseau Box.

This new tote comes in patent calfskin with a gorgeously glossy, transparent finish which reveals the leather’s delicate patina and enhances Autumn’s most sumptuous shades: dark Aubergine, warm Cumin, intriguing blue-green Cedar and rich Carmine. And it’ll fit with some of the watches I have checked out before.

Next up, the Balzane Roots hobo bag interpreted in three elegantly muted shades for Autumn 2013.

Its contrasting smooth mocha leather trim adds fashion flair to this chic, sporty design.

Balzane Roots in Cumin, Taupe and Mauve

The Gatsby Sport

I absolutely loved the masculine-feminine allure of this brown satchel.

Longchamp Le Pliage in its warm, earthy hues this Autumn.

I favoured the Longchamp Pliage in this shade most!

It even comes with a matching pair of flats. smiley

Other ranges of Longchamp from its previous collections were seen at this exclusive press viewing too.

I immediately took a liking to its Spring/Summer ’13 products too. Here’s a brief look at some of them.

So bright and cheery, no? Absolute love.

I’d add this maxi clutch to my evening looks anytime! heartheart It’s too pretty.

This was another one I took an instant fancy too.

Another variant.

Lovely, right? laugh

After I was satisfied browsing and admiring the range of bags, I noticed that bags aren’t the only highlight of Longchamp’s 2013 Fall/Winter collection. Here, we have the Ready To Wear (RTW) collection of apparel as well. laugh

Longchamp interprets the season’s light-and-shade theme in contrasts of colours and textures. In particular, a series of two-tone pieces epitomize the graphic, pared-down mood, to which touches of fur and pops of colour bring luxury and luminosity.

Autumn’s silhouette is long and lean, featuring cigarette pants in supple lambskin or warm wool, topped off by cute blousons, maybe with a fox fur collar, or – a more relaxed option – cosy oversize cardigans in wool and mohair.

One of the standout looks is a silk jumpsuit in two-tone white and black or black and khaki, teamed with high-heeled ankle boots for maximum leg-lengthening potential. yes

Outerwear is a key focus of the season and ranges from the luxurious – a chic coat combining panels of lamb fur, tweed and lambskin leather – to the sporty, in the form of nylon blousons in the collection’s star fauve and feather prints.

In addition to graphic black and white, the autumnal colour palette plays on rich, warm shades of camel and khaki, bronze and cumin. The feather print is at its most feminine in lush plum tones, while an occasional pop of bright fuchsia.

Some of this season’s RTW apparel collection.

Watch the video of the fashion show below!

Longchamp Paris’ whole 2013 Fall/Winter collection being paraded on the runway.

Before my male readers scroll through this post while stifling a yawn or two, don’t fret.

Para pembaca lelaki, sila jangan khuatir! I HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN YOU, BOYS!

Longchamp’s 2013 Fall/Winter collection offers new lines and new looks for the Longchamp Man.
Three new men’s leather goods lines make headline news at Longchamp this Autumn for connoisseurs of fine leather and flawless craftsmanship.

May / Jessicat

We are standing next to the men’s section!

The LM CUIR line – previously reserved for women – is now available for men.
Longchamp’sheritage LM motif of galloping racehorses and crisscrossing bridle straps is embossed on the supple black cowhide of two elegant document holders with generous handles, removable shoulder straps and masculine gunmetal hardware.
LM Cuir for men
The larger case features two compartments – one padded for a tablet or laptop – and multiple pockets, while the smaller model offers a single spacious compartment. Both cases are finished with the emblematic metallic LM Cuir identity tag.
The LONGCHAMP 3D is a resolutely contemporary line that will appeal to urban trend-setters.
The graphic play on vertical and horizontal straps that characterizes the 3D collection for women is reinterpreted formen on a fashionable tote and a document holder in soft, supple calfskin discreetly embossed with the Longchamp signature.
Longchamp 3D
It boasts a removable leather shoulder strap and address holder, while blacknickel hardware adds a vintage twist to the line’s classic shades of terra, cognac and black. I can totally see my man toting this to the office or work!
Last but not least, is my top choice for the men’s department.
Longchamp S@FARI-SUR-SEINE
For men who prowl the urban jungle, the season’s third new line is S@FARI-SUR-SEINE – a name that reflects both its elegant inspiration and its weekend-to-work destination.
Beige or navy nylon canvas with the authentic look and feel of cotton is complemented by natural cowhide trim and aged brass-finish hardware, giving the line’s sevnmodels a casual chic style.
For leisure, highlights include a cross-body bag and a satchel, while business is covered by a document holder with a padded laptop compartment and two roomy front pockets.  yes

Both are available in the line’s existing taupe and black colour codes,as well as Autumn’s new cedar and black. Combining style and savoir-faire, fashion and functionality, the season’s new designs cement Longchamp’s status as ago-to label for modern, trend-aware men. cool

With a combination of both female and male fashion pieces, everyone was happy that evening. laugh

Thank you Longchamp Malaysia, for having me. I had a splendid time browsing your latest collection!

It’s 84 inches wide and long, baby. Introducing the world’s first 84-inch Ultra HD 3D TV brought to you by LG!

June 17, 2013 by thejessicat

Remember that epic TV that I wrote about some time last week?

Well I finally got to see it with my very own eyes!

The 84 inch LG Ultra HD 3D TV and I

No, I am not wearing sunglasses indoors, much less in a dark room! You shall see what it is shortly! wink

So my Saturday morning was spent at the LG Fiesta blogger party.

It was held at the Piazza @ The Curve

Stole this picture from LG's Facebook page LOL.

 Can you spot me? Hahahaha!

Upon arrival, I saw many colourful, numbered stickers!

I was allocated to Group 6 – and here are my matching 3D glasses cool

Giant illustration of LG's latest 84 inch Ultra UD 3D TV.

There was also a DJ entertaining us at the party!

The huge DJ deck was for the DJ competition which took place later that afternoon.

The party was hustling and bustling with people!

With some friends Kelly and Isaac smiley

Amidst all the TV talk, there was another product by LG which caught my fancy.

It was a little handheld machine called the LG Pocket Photo; a smart mobile printer which instantly prints out photographs for keepsake! yes

All I had to do was to take a photo on a smartphone (with the Pocket Photo app installed)

and transfer it over by tapping it on the Pocket Photo machine.

In less than three seconds, the LG Pocket Photo machine begins printing out my photo.

And it's mine for keeps! In this era, I do appreciate a hard copy of a photographs every once in a while.

It's like a novelty to me, ya know? angel Jarang sungguh dapatkan gambar sebenar yang bukan digital!

I went back into the dark room where the 84 inch Ultra HD 3D TV was.

Something was missing! Since it was set to 3D mode, I noticed that I was seeing things differently.

It can't be my eyesight, can it? surprise Looks like this calls for…

LG's Cinema 3D Glasses! Cute as a button, no?

I found it very stylish, ultra-light and colourful! cool

So that explains my double-vision before putting LG's Cinema 3D Glasses on.

Erica and I having fun with our 3D glasses. devil

This toddler wasn't spared from the fun of 3D glasses!

Bro and I had our fair share of fooling around with our 3D glasses too.

Of course, to watch your shows/movies, you can always opt for the normal mode instead of the 3D mode.

But if you do happen to select the latter…

You know you need these to bolt yourself straight into the wondrous world

of three-dimensional ultra high definition wonder! cool

After putting my 3D glasses on, the vision was breathtaking! yes

Much like a cinematic experience without going to the cinemas.

We were then given an introduction to this prized television and

enlightened by a product knowledge briefing session.

During the sharing session, we were also told to put on our comfy, battery-free, lightweight Cinema 3D Glasses to watch an animated movie while he elaborated further on the total immersion brilliance and aspects of this Ultra High Definition 3D mode that we were watching on.

I had no problems putting them on excitedly! laugh

If you were wondering from the beginning, yes, I wore this tee on purpose today cool

Anyway, to save you from reading a truckload of text (and to save me from writing it for you),

you can watch the video below and be amazed by LG's 84 inch Ultra HD 3D TV for yourself!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNNlULLWEbw

Later that morning, we were asked to participate in a series of very interesting games.

A five-second clip was played from 10 different movies which we had to identify. Any movie buffs here?

The first clip that was played.

Forgive my ignorance but WHAT MOVIE IS THIS??? surprisesurprisesurprise I never found out.

The fourth clip that was played. Ahhhhh.. dear ol' Captain Von Trapp and his seven children.

It's The Sound of Music, without a shadow of a doubt wink

Guessing games… brace yourselves!

We got this right. THIS. IS. SPARTA! 300! devildevil

Oh no. What movie is this? I think it had Leonardo DiCaprio in it.

Or was it Brad Pitt? I don't recall!

My team mate Kifly and I were racking our brains for this game!

I think we only got about four correct answers out of the ten LOL.

For the next game…

Can you guess what we had to do?

Obvious enough?

What about this?

Yup… It's PSY's Gangnam Style!

I cannot believe I danced to this song to an audience of approximately 60-70 people. surprise

Terkejutnye aku, apabila disuruh menari lagu ini di depan para penonton. Ala.. ramainye! Memalukanlah!

Admittedly, although I often break into PSY's addictive dance routines (yes, 'Gentleman' included) at the most random places like malls and cafes, I never thought I had to do this deliberately on command.

Oh I have a video footage of our dance as well. Might just upload it f I am in a good mood cheekycheeky

My team! For our 'Gangnam Style' dance, we got an 8-8-9-8 from the judges LOL

Yay? cheeky Good job team.

The event ended at noon and the winning team was announced.

Although we didn't win anything, I had the time of my life that morning! devil It has been quite a while since the last time I attended a blogger gathering which was power-packed with fun and games.

Undeniably,  I absolutely love the 84 inch Ultra HD 3D TV so much! heart

Don't burst my bubble, but I'm already envisioning myself lying on the couch with my loved ones eating popcorn and watching movies from this epic television at the comfort of my own home. cheeky

Thank you, LG for a fun morning at your Fiesta party!

Take it to the streets yo! PUMA Evolution of Suede finale party FOR THE STREET! | Capsquare KL

April 20, 2013 by thejessicat

Upon getting back on my feet after discharging from the hospital, I received an invitation to party VIP style at the finale of PUMA's Evolution of Suede.

This got me all excited as I am a ardous fan of sneakers/kicks and love all things urban & street cultured!

Jessicat wears:

Trucker cap by PUMA | Off-shoulder top in blue and grey by Forever 21 |

Black high-waisted shorts in black by Forever 21 |

Nova Check Hearts Limited Edition Hobo Bag in berry red by Burberry |

Accessories by Hard Rock Shop | Classic Suede sneakers in blue by PUMA

I arrived Capsquare KL on time and it wasn't difficult to spot the event venue at all!

It was brightly-lit, cheery and jostling about with media and guests. The loud, booming music certainly helped too. laugh

The concourse area. Can't wait to enter!

Apr 5, 2013 | Us being silly & bopping to MC Hammer's 'Can't Touch This' at the PUMA Evolution of Suede party. Hip hop yo! by imthejessicat on Keek.com

Swanky, boppin' hip-hop, rap and RnB tunes of the 1990s to the mid 2000's YO.

I recognized them instantaneously and knew all the lyrics by heart YO. heart Ya'll know what this is, this yo' girl Jessicat.

But first, formalities. Signing on the guestlist!

And of course, an obligatory photo with the boyfie at the photowall laugh

PUMA's Evolution of Suede has reached its peak and now concludes the series of parties with the Evolution of Suede Finale Party!

This For the Street party celebrates PUMA Suede’s 45th year in the game change and marks the release of the Future Suede.

Part of the invitation I received

Street culture was my thing as a boisterous teen, back in the day.cool

All those hip-hop, grafitti art, metal street fences, breakdancing, sidewalks, brick walls, spray paint cans – I knew that all too well!

I particularly felt the inner street rebel of my past clamouring for attention.

Come to think of it, I should have came dressed in my baggy pants, tank top, NYC snapback cap, bling metal chains and walk like a thug.

Haha! That would be a sight to see. Imma be so gangsta, there wont be no recognizing this homie, ya'll. cool

Moving on…

Some PUMA apparel showcased by mannequins at the entrance

Mr. Dan and Shikara, two prominent personalities in the Malaysian hip-hop scene were the hosts for the evening.

A live graffiti performance by graffiti artist, Newba and live shoe designing booth were manned by graffiti artists, Bee of PHBKLK, Iqbal of Fresh Kids, Carpet, Katun, and Nenok. I watched them attentively as they worked their magic fingers with their tools of trade, marker pens, sprays and colours.

I almost wanted those artists to graffitize my sneakers! Should have brought my plain white ones for them to go crazy with. devil

Had a few bites and drinks in the VIP zone with some friends Koujee, Dennis and Yu Jin

Koujee will be performing in a short while, just you wait! cool

The night kicked off with a performance by the winners of Showdown 2011, Elecoldxhot.

I've watched them plenty of times before and I'll never get tired of them. yes

Their street dance tonight, and as always, was brimming with energy and their routine was well in-line

with the progression of the hip-hop dance scene from the late 90s to its present form.

Very apt for the theme of this For the Street event, I must say!

After their performance, the boyfie and I went exploring around the zone to check out a few other epic, life-sized shoe designs.

Us with this giant yellow schoolbus of a PUMA shoe design

Proud to say this one was done by my friends Miranda and Kevin (my former colleagues in the print media industry).

Nice one. I recognized it instantly! See the CMYK motif and other print symbols? yes

There was also an exhibition of the top 30 designs selected from the 160 entries received for the 2058 Future Suede design contest.

Behold, the various masterpieces of 30 artistic people's vision of the 2058 Future Suede!

Here are some of them:

The sea of red sneakers!

Check out this eclectic blue high-tops with the eyeball!

Soon after, we were entertained by a beatbox performance by Koujee.

He interacted with the dance floor superbly and dropped epic sounds from his voicebox!

Think hip-hop, rap, RnB and EVEN DUBSTEP.

Koujee's beatboxing was smashing! It got me booty-shakin' to the beat and vocal bass.yes

It's been a long time since I've partied to RnB tunes. wink

Wih some friends at the dance floor!

Next up, was a DJ battle performance between DJ Fuzz and H3

Oh, which reminds me, I would like to thank PUMA Malaysia for sponsoring me the gorgeous predecessor of the Future Suede last month – the Classic Suede.heart

It came in many variants, but this was the colour combo of my choice!

This suede beauty is made from the underside of lambskin. Loved the contrasting colours.kiss

Here's a close-up of my new Classic Suede.

So close that you can even see the fine, suede material!

While tonight's finale event signals the end of the PUMA Evolution of Suede campaign, I know the legacy of PUMA's classic heritage and future evolutions will never be a thing of the past. smiley

PUMA's Evolution of Suede will live on, just like the culture of hip hop and streetwear, so long as the legacy is still loved by many suede fashionistas around the world.

Now, this is what I call a priceless heritage yes

The Future Suede is light-weight (weighing only 180 grams) and boasts

futuristic tweaks but retains the signature Classic Suede of 1968.

Here's one of the other variations of PUMA Suede. The PUMA Clyde made in the 1970s.

Ugly? Puh-leese. It's cooler than you think, YO.

This was the IN-THING back in the 70's YO. Even your grandfather might have worn it while breakdancing cheeky

Thanks for a great time and also for the Classic Suede, PUMA Malaysiaheart

Wore them at tonight's party in the spirit of the new Future Suede!

Go get the brand new Future Suede, people! I just might! yes

I think my Classic Suede could use a lil bro to keep him company amongst my collection of other sneakers. wink

The PUMA Future Suede is now available at PUMA outlets in 1 Utama, Bangsar Village 2, Pavilion KL, Queensbay Mall, Sunway Pyramid, Suria KLCC, The Gardens and retails at RM229.
