Ohhmy…. Now it’s only days to the private party with free flow of Carlsberg and the FHM Girl Next Door Finalists! It’s gonna be happening on the 8th of December 2009 in the Carlsberg Lounge, Shah Alam.
So excited to party on down with my girl friends : )
A friend of mine Jie Jun, won the Carlsberg Christmas Tree party! Sucha lucky biatch : ) She hung an insane number of 1182 trinkets on her tree, more than anyone else!
That’s like whoaaaaa jawdropping. I bet she never ate nor slept, constantly hanging her friends one by one, relentlessly on the Christmas Tree 😛
CRAYZEE WOMAN! 🙂
It was nice of her to invite me to join the party as well. I wonder what I’m going to wear? Hmmm… *ponders* something green or red perhaps? Can’t believe I’m still in the Christmas spirit although it’s already 2010! Or I’d prolly wear white or red and look like a candy cane and serve Carlsberg draughts wtf! : )
Nahhh. Phail. I think I’d leave it to the hotter bombshell with a bit more skin *winks*
Regardless of what I’m gonna wear, I bet everybodehh will also put their best foot forward and glam up too! Heck, I know the dudes will. After all, they will be partying in the same room with the FHM Girl Next Door Finalists – do I hear the temperature rising? *evil laughter*
Check some of them out :
But that’s only 5 of them! There’s TEN altogether. If I’m in a good mood, I’d post the bikini pictures of them too in the next post : ) With them frolicking with each other getting sun-kissed and wet at a waterpark. So whatcha waiting for, slow mo? Hee.
Join us all at the party, it’s not too late! Be a fan of Carlsberg on Facebook [here] and you might just be one of the many lucky ones to walk away with invites as well. See ya there party peeps! : )
Remember the event announcement which I blogged about [here] ? I made my way there immediately after a loooong tiring day out in the hot sun, shooting away. Was looking forward to just wrap up my day with an ice-cold beer and some techno boomz! So there I was at the M.C Asia Music Factory “The Beginning” event at KL Live @ Life Center. It was an after party following the educational workshop on making DJ-ing a professional career, the revolution of digital music, evolution of music labels and music production.
Crystal and I went courtesy of Mypartners Communication who extended us the invites
I didn’t expect to see her there, and neither did she. We bumped into each other at the photowall and went “HEYYYYYYY!!!” haha. Love your poncho-like top, gurl 🙂 Also, I brought some friends in under my guestlist to enjoy the turntablism for the evening too.
So let’s take a look at who they are
BWAHAHAHAAH Joshua and Aaron’s expressions How can you not love ’em?
Brought Bok, Jun and yes, thats the same Joshua as the earlier photo Here we are upstairs at the VIP area to grab our drinks Eventually went downstairs because it’s much more fun there 🙂
and Rachel & Wilson too! Check out the amount of Tuborgs on our table LOL
and Inariprawnello Ken
I managed to catch local DJ Affiq and Funko Munky spinning when I arrived. As it was still way too early into the night, the crowd was dissapointing. People only started pilling in gradually towards midnight.
This Swedish DJ and electronic music producer spun his magic fingers at the decks from 10pm for an hour plus
He played well and it got some of us to the dance floor letting our hair down! Sadly, I was wearing booties that very night so wasn’t mobile enough to join the doods shuffling 🙁 Hah! I remember old buddy Rachel and I used to kick off our high heels and just shuffle and jump on the dance floor whenever we clubbed together
Next up was DJ Preach all the way from Canada! His beats were faster and incorporated some r&b rhythms
By 11.30pm lotsa people were there raving about right in front already. I was amazed at the amount of diverse people in this club. There were African-Americans, Brits, Australians, Pinnoys and of course Malaysians too.
Got tired from dancing and sat down with Alex, Ken and Jacque at the table 🙂
Couldn’t stay till the very end as I had an early day tomorrow morning, So I MISSED DJ MARCEL WOODS! /sob I was actually anticipating him all night though. But lets just hope the shufflers and poppers dancing right under the DJ console enjoyed themselves for me! Woots
Took a final piccie at the photowall before I left!
Thanks to Alex who shot this which made me look apparently very tall and thin (one of those rare pics which doesn’t make you look fat!)
Oh and just yesterday out shopping with Erin, I spotted something which looked really adorable. Silly things! Lady Gaga hairbows are all the rage for lazy peeps or peeps who ain’t got that long a crowning glory!
Lady Gaga wannabes, she’s sucha freak ya just gotta love her.
But I ain’t blonde, HOW? 🙁
MWAH! I wonder if I will ever be a psychotic enough to emulate her look one day 🙂
What’s scary? No, it’s not how you look in the morning
What’s big, green and scary? No it’s not the Incredible Hulk
What’s big, green, scary and local? We’re about to find out!
Last weekend, I was invited to The Palace @ Sheraton Imperial Hotel KL for a special screening of Dimensions TVC – A joint effort by Maxis and Astro, Malaysia’s 1st made for mobile science-fiction series.
The event began with a speech by T. Kugan and Eric Foo, to introduce to us, the media and consumers, about what the entire plot is about and how to go about watching it.
11 Episodes of Dimension altogether created exclusively for 3G and online platforms.
Soon, Episode 1 of Dimensions premiered to spark the suspense within us. Whoa, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! Given that the local film industry is kinda sullen, the production crew of Dimensions did a pretty good job.
I like the cinematography and effects involved in the making of this sci-fi series. Well, it’s definitely something I look forward to as I can totally relate to the settings of the location and cast. Wheee! Because this sci-fi thriller is set in the heart of KL which reinvents the myths and legends of our city rainforest and ancient spirits of animist tales.
Now that’s some awesome-pawsome stuff! 🙂
Here’s the plot I find worth sharing!
A series of mysterious outbreaks is sweeping through KL.
Entire shopping malls struck blind, multiple incidents of group hysteria, heart attacks en masse, an entire secondary school comatose. The entire medical comunity is at a loss for the cause, except for one doctor.
Convinced there is a correlation, she goes in search of the truth, discovering a group of unique individuals with extraordinary powers.
With the appearance of an enigmatic young girl and 2 dark characters on the hunt, an epic adventure beckons, with millions of lives at stake.
Will that curious and determined doctor uncover the truth and save the nation from this widespread epidemic? Or will these dark forces ultimately find what they are looking for and plunge the world into chaos?
Our popular local actor Jehan Miskin stars as this metrosexual malay male with abnormal agility. Oh and *psst I think Rufus starred by justin chan is pretty cute! He plays the short geeky young chinese male by the way.
Nom nom time!
Right after the screening, activation stations were then set-up for anyone who is registered with iPhone 3G to watch anytime they want. And it was time for dinner! In other words, camwhore time wheeeee~
Jon from Fleishman-Hillard Thanks for the invite dude! (Esther was outside at the registration table)
love them heaps! fab people /big hugs
Buddy Joe who gave me a loooong talk about my grandpa’s demise Thanks for so much consoling ya 🙂
Shouters unite!
Bumped into Angelene, my former classmate in college KDU Mass Commers FTW! (because we’re just better) =P
Colors vs. white the 4 of us could stand for a laundry detergent ad
I cannot believe I bumped into you! Long lost friend from Penang
Soon after, it was time for some lucky draws! Oh for the record I’m NEVER lucky in Lucky Draws. Arghh. 2 people won an iPhone 3GS just like that, including a friend of mine, Xiang. Gosh. Jealous over the top dot com dot info. >__<
That’s him in a black shirt showing off his new box /boxes Xiang with congrats 😛
Bumped into Bo from Unseen TV in the carpark just before Tocky and I rushed of for another event. His hair is just mad awesome, no? hohoho! Ps. I like Unseen TV because they NEVER censor curses and swears alike. Woots! 🙂
OH AND ONE MORE THING :
And the war between iPhone 3G vs. Blackberry never dies!
End of story. But I won’t be able to sleep without saying this

*prepares shield against iPhone users & opens her bottle of Vodka to celebrate with the other BB users*
After an event by Maxis, (which I will blog about soon) I sped off in my lil ride across the city to get to the extremely popular nightspot called the Sky Bar. The 1st thing I thought of “Sky Bar” when the fab peeps behind this invited me was that I will definitely be partying more than 200 metres above sea level.
Pretty dope, ey? 🙂
Me with the gals
And with the dudes
Literally, a sky bar high up on the highest floor of Traders Hotel overlooking the city skyline! Such love
I was given a goodie bag upon reaching, certainly I love what’s in it! Haha I thought it was a really nifty lighter at first *stares cock at Joshua, Tock & Ren*
It says “Passion for Perfection” melikes.
When I was told about this whole ongoing program by a mixology institution, the Horeca School of Excellence, I was rather impressed! It is a twice-a-year programme that is currently available only in Malaysia with an objective in promoting the excellence amongst F&B employees.
International trainers are brought in for this programme to train some of the local workers in the F&B industry and thus there’ll be consumer engagement session called “Mini-Bar Nights” which provide trainees to feature their own cocktail concoctions putting in practise some the service skills acquired. To date, about 1000 service personnel from more than 40 F&B outlets have graduated from this programme.Totally reminds me of Hogwarts yo.
So yeah, we had 3 World Class Bartenders whipping their magic in brewing fine and unique concoctions for us all. They were flown internationally all the way here to serve the public in preparing cocktails.
Meet the 3 big names in the industry with many years of experience under their belt – Chanond from Bangkok, Maya from Stockholm and Kelli from New York
Toying around with my camera for added value! 🙂 Can you handle their mixed personalities?
For that night itself, the free flow of cocktails were as follows:
Sun Ripen Passion, Robusto Mojito, Kings Blend and etc
Love that minty taste of peppermint leaves!
Tonight’s not just the only night mind you, there will be more sessions of Mini-Bar Nights:
17th November 2009 at Aliyaa, Bukit Damansara, 8pm 18th November 2009 at The Social, Changkat Bukit Bintang, 8pm
and the largest on on 20th November 2009 at Maison, 10pm
All cocktails on Horeca’s ENCORE menu served will be at RM10 nett! It will be open to public & No cover charge needed on the Mini Bar Nights mentioned above .
Cheers!
Okay back to what happened tonight
I liked the way she mixes fashionably too! That gurl’s got spunk
We were singing along to the live band there too! They played lotsa old skool rock, acoustic and classic songs. Amazing combination of instruments and vocals!
Needless to say, we all had a good time!
While they were all busy mixing and entertaining the public
to make this amazing drink bursting with flavour!
When I grow up, I don’t wanna be a star, don’t wanna be famous, don’t wanna be in movies, don’t wanna see the world, don’t wanna drive nice cars, don’t wanna have boobies –
I wanna be a sorcerer, wanna be pro in witchcraft and wizardry, wanna stir my potions, wanna make magic for all to enjoy!
