UPDATES!!!
Timbaland will no longer be performing in Malaysia for Arthur's Day. Why? Let's leave it as a question unsolved 🙂 Anyways, make way for Flo-Rida, Sean Kingston and Colby O'Donis instead!!! 😀
————————————-
Okay! I just got home after the Arthur's Day press conference held at @LIVE, Sunway Pyramid held a moment ago
Courtesy of Guinness, I was invited to the launch to discover the line up for the event, as they were gonna reveal it there and then!
Eggcited yet? 😀 😀
It was a pretty wet day and I reckon everyone was late due to the insane traffic snarl.
But ANYWAY!
As more guests started rollin' in, we mingled over ice cold glasses and glasses of frothy Guinness draft. I met lots of my friends there too! 😀 The more the merrier 🙂 🙂 Was great seeing lotsa familiar happyfaces there! Cheers loves! 😀 😀
Among the few friends whom I camwhored with 🙂
Nom nom nom frothy beer! I defo cannot wait for this year's Arthur's Day! The party of the year is back again yo 🙂 🙂 Enjoyed myself loads at last year's where the Black Eyed Peas rocked Malaysia! Bet this year's gonna be a blast again
FML got photobombed by Eu Veng while camwhoring!
Sippin' on some Guinness with Karen & Yuen Yee 😀
Oh and remember the #freebeer by Tiger I blogged about recently? 🙂 Was great bumping into Sean again! Guinness, Tiger whatever, it's all goood
Also, was a pleasant surprise to bump into my ex-colleague, the cute Ken Wei after so long too!
He's the editor of STUFF and one of the nicest people to me during my JUICE mag days! 😀
Okay okay! 😀 Enough about me and pals, it's time to reveal whatchu really really wanna know! 😀
Serena C and Adam Carruthers hosted the event
Who will be performing? Which artiste? *drumroll*
Introducing the line-up for Arthur's Day 2010!
Mizz Nina! 😀 Our local Hip Hop princess
I've blogged about her before with Colby Odonis
DJ Fuzz! He's one of our leading local DJs
And I absolutely love listening to him every weekend on Hitz party on radio 🙂
Makes me wanna hit the clubs almost immediately
Thaitainium! A very interesting play of words 😉
They're a popular Thai-American Hip Hop trio and last performed at MTV Asia Awards!
Pop Shuvit! Our fab local Hip Hop-Rap-Rock band!
They've been around for as long as ever yo 😀
But but but!
THAT'S NOT ALL 😀 😀 😀
Who dya think will be jet-setting all the way from the United States just for us?
Marketing Director Mark Jenner spills it all! 😀 😀
Yup, didn't you see it coming? 😀 😀
The star of the show will be none other than Timbaland the American Grammy Award-winning record producer, singer-songwriter, actor, musician and rapper!
If you've not heard of him, you're *probably* deaf OR
don't listen to radio nor Billboard top charts 😀
He's THAT BIG a name
Timbaland's the GOD of music to me (along with Pitbull), even my mom can recognize him on the airwaves (I guess I've managed to psycho her!) He's this very prominent producer and has produced the work of big names, shooting them to even bigger fame!
Peeps like Justin Timberlake, Nelly Furtado, Madonna, Katy Perry, Keri Hilson, Leona Lewis, Mariah Carey, Wyclef Jean, Shakira, Missy Elliott, Nelly Furtado, Jay-Z and the list goes on. I technically worship him, for the lack of a better word LOL! 😀 A true talent. And he'll be pumpin' up the beats just for us on Arthur's Day 😀
Thumbs up!
