The Sunday Times XXXII: Sights, sounds, adventures & eats! My week in a flash ♥

July 21, 2013 by thejessicat

Hi loves!

This week was filled with friends, love and celebrations. Oh and, a lot of food as usual haha!

So let's see… what made my week this time round?

My seven days began at work (where else?) on a Monday. And as we were chilling outside our office porch, my colleague took this candid shot of me.

Deep in conversation with another colleague LOL.

So I suppose this is my serious face when I pay attention to someone talking.

(Actually I don't even remember what we were talking about anymore)

He took another photo, which I had some fun editing.

Tuesday night went great as bestieJoyce asked me out to celebrate my belated birthday!

She was away on my actual birthday, so I guess this makes up for it. I was thrilled smiley

Dressed up really casually tonight; I didn't feel dressy for some reason.

The birthday dinner at Picknik,Publika was great! Wonderful conversations my loves over great foodheart

Full blog post soon!

The rest of the week was all about my daily grind at gym and post-workout meals as usual:

Lower back and leg day. Hi!

Blueberry proats with banana and almonds

Organic wholewheat fusili tossed in extra virgin olive oil with

chicken mince, baby asparagus, kidney beans and chia seeds!

Experimented with something new on Thursday.
Raw honey baked stuffed capsicums with lean, ground beef, minced chicken breast and vegetable fillings!

I don’t usually praise my own cookbook creations but this was delicious and tastes just like pie! laugh

Will refine my recipe and hopefully post it up ok! kiss

Lunch with the colleagues at IKEA Restaurant & Cafe

No prizes in guessing which is mine! cheeky

When we arrived today, I was almost overcome with shock when there were hardly anyone eating at a restaurant which was, more often than not, always 100% full and even people lining up in long queues!

Then I realized it was Ramadan month where the Muslims fast all day. Right, no wonder. cool

The next night, Kon and I decided to storm Jalan Alor for some local streetfood.

Actually, he was craving for hot and spicy clams since our last visit. So we caved in.

Yun Lai Restaurant along the buzzing food haunt in Jalan Alor.

We didn't remember which was the store we patronized on our last visit, so we gave this one a try.

Amongst the hoardes of stores lining the main street, one could easily be spoilt for choice.

Here's what we ordered:

Chicken Satay

Black Pepper Baked Prawns

Barbequed Stingray

Sauteed Asparagus

Hot & Spicy Lala (clams)

Grilled Mushrooms

The food was great! We had an enjoyable evening there, despite the presence of aggressive waitresses trying to solicit customers to dine in their stores. She literally yanked my sleeved in a relatively rough manner towards her store LOL.

Didn't quite appreciate that. indecision But the food certainly made up for her lack of mannerism!

Come Saturday, I threw a small birthday party with my closest buddies.

Many thanks to The Pool KL for sponsoring my night and Smirnoff Vodka! heart Thank youuuuu so much.

Sorry for the bad quality! It happens when the image is sent directly from Instagram frown

We also spent the afterparty in Zouk Club KL. That was one hectic night, alright. heart

Will be blogging about the night a.s.a.p yes promise! x

Just a few things I've pondered about and held for a long time, but only decided to execute now.

When you ask yourself whether or not you are truly happy with the way things are working for you now, what would your answer be? blush

Are you happy with where you are, what you are doing, how you look, who you are with, and your life in general at this present time? If you're not, or have mixed feelings about your answer, then you probably lack the happiness you have in mind.

Do something different, for once. Only you can dictate where your life is headed to.angel

Do something to break free from your current shackles and give yourself the time to re-evaluate.

A re-route. A different path in life. A new direction. wink

Sure, you may not be sure if this is really what you want and risk emotional withdrawals but hey, it's only normal. Don't be afraid to embark on something new or shuffle your priorities. It's just the beginning.

Go where you are celebrated; not tolerated!

So if you think you are strong enough to shut your eyes, put your barricades behind you, and dive into the deep for a new adventure, by all means, go for it. I did, with absolutely no regrets.

Much love,

kissJessicat

The Sunday Times XXXI: Sights, sounds, adventures & eats! My week in a flash ♥

July 14, 2013 by thejessicat

Ohai there! How are you doing?

My week was rather out of the ordinary – a lot more fun, more beautiful and yet unfortunate LOL.

It's a given, I like to doll myself up whenever I attend events.

My busy week began with Winnie dear's text; inviting me to a very glamorous event in the Grand Ballroom of Sunway Resort Hotel and Spa. Without hesitation, I told her I'd see her there, for sure! heart

Jul 10, 2013 | Excited for tonight's #gala! It's renown #Italian haIr brand, #Medavita's 50th anniversary dinner! by imthejessicat on Keek.com

Medavita's 50th Anniversary gala dinner and hair show was a very, very compelling one!

It was themed 'From Black to White'. Needless to say, I came dressed in black and white from top to toe! wink

It also featured duo Urban Nation and hair maestro Mauro Lulli from Italy performing hair transformations..

Full blog feature soon!

Winnie and I heart

She was on stage performing an elegant hairstyle transformation too!

Everything was fine and dandy this week, been keeping busy and whatnot but it all fell apart when I was involved in a serious-but-not-so-serious-but-extremely-damaging-to-my-pocket mishap.

So apparently, while I was speeding down the highway, my car tyre exploded. A LOUD rattling sound was heard and before I knew it, I was veering towards the right. frown Terkejutnya aku! Tiba-tibe je…

I tried my best to slow down and detour towards the left side of the highway before we called for help.

Help arrived in 10 minutes (but it felt like forever given the sticky situation).

Thank goodness for SPRINT Ronda's efficiency! yes

Sent my poor baby to hospital. It didn't only damage him but caused a huge dent in my wallet too.

Why do Ford cars only use special Continental huge, high quality tyres and not regular tyres? frown

Another thing causing such an uproar this week amongst my friends is the Minion craze.

Yeah, I don't get it either.

Remember my previous post about the McDonald's minions?

And what about the children? Adults storming McDonald's to buy and sell those minions at 12am?

I have one thing to say.

Word.

Anyway, that's just my opinion. No offence to the legions of minion-fans out there.

Asalkan sesiapa gemar, ikut suka hati sendirilah! wink  Whatever floats your boat.

Perhaps someday I'll find a collectible that renders me crazy too cheeky

In the meantime, here are some workout/progress shots in the gym and my usual post-workout meals.

Flexing those guns after bicep and back day. It's scary when they pop so much! blush

Tuesday Tri-set day!

Roasted chicken, cauliflower & carrots and egg white scramble with sauteed spinach!

Seven nut granola with bananas, blueberries and cinnamon!

Honey roasted corn, brocolli & carrots and wholewheat organic fusilli!

Homemade guacamole, cherry tomatoes and pumpkin kernals on toast!

Mashed potato with eggs, bayleaf and black pepper

Roast chicken fillets with homemade hummus, baked potatoes in bayleaf and brocolli & carrots

Proatmeal, sunflower seeds, pumpkin kernals and blueberries!

Snacktime! 3 hardboiled eggs, lettuce, yoghurt and banana!

Muesli with milk, green apples and blueberries!

That's enough food for now. Not sure if publishing food photos by day is frowned upon or not.indecision

Dahla tu, tak elok la kalo banyak sangat gambar makanan semasa bulan Ramadan.

Minta maaf ye, kalo tersinggung! sad

Let's move on to other things that made my week instead.

I got my hair done at my favorite hair salon – the undisputed, bar none, A Cut Above!

My new ombre-red hair thanks to A Cut Above!

After consultation, Winnie told me that my hair was finally ready for red pigments again.

After the massive hair tragedy that burnt my long red hair, by a hair stylist from a hair salon whose name I shall not disclose (because I don't feel nasty today), I had to be on almost a year-long hiatus from red hair.

The red-head Jessicat is back for the 6th year! kiss

Full blog feature of my red-head return soon

Had my eyelash extensions done thanks to Pink Passion The Signature Salon

Will be posting up a discount code specially for my readers. Full blog feature soon!

Since it was the weekend, I figured imma shimmy down and have some fun in the city.

At my one and only favorite playground – Zouk Club KL. wink

Are we ready? We sure are wink

With my girl Pam in Zouk's Phuture instead of Mainroom, for a change. wink

Shishatime with Marc – afterparty? More of after-chilling after all that partying.

Random selfie in the mirror

Being a good host to my foreign friends (and no, I am not blowing my own trumpet. If you do know exactly how many foreigners I have brought around KL and Penang over a span of say, a year, you would think I am working as a part time tour guide, I kid you not.), I decided to bring them to one of our less "city" spots in KL.

They didn't come all this way to Malaysia just to see…… shopping malls. indecision

Most of my foreign buddies yearn for a taste of culture, something off the beaten track, one that they won't ever see in their homeland.

And thus, we meet again, dear ol' Batu Caves.

I wrote a blog post about my previous Batu Caves visit here. Trust me, you'll like it. wink

As usual, attempting the 300 odd staircase climb with a foreigner is something I deem quite a "hobby" now.

With Frenchboy Marc this time. Say hi smiley

We all had a great deal of fun! laugh Watched monkeys, pigeons and…

COCKFIGHTS! Yes, I'm not joking. Actual, cock fights. wink

Jul 13, 2013 | Bringing ze #French guest around in #KL, #Malaysia! We've just finished climbing to ze top of Batu Caves. by imthejessicat on Keek.com

Lunch was at Tony Romas Steakhouse Restaurant. What can I say? wink

I love the ribs at Tony Romas and gave it a five star rating. Check out the previous blog mention last week!

Mine: Lamb RIbs and Bountiful Beef Ribs

Rating: ★★★★★

A 10 oz. medium-well New York Strip

Rating: ★★★★★

He prefers medium-well too, just like I do!

I think I'd grimace while eating a steak that is cooked anywhere beneath medium. Ugh. blush

Gobble gobble.

The ribs were so good; I just had to leave my propriety under the table and eat with my fingers LOL

It's time to shake, rattle, rock n' roll with some strawberry mojitos!

Spent my Sunday in Hard Rock Cafe!

Ahhhh good ol' classic rock, metal and rock n' roll with local rock band 'N the Boys'

Hot Fudge Sundae.

Rating: ★★★★★

Song of the week. My current earworm; on loop for about a million times now.

Moving on!

Konzy returned from his trip to Hong Kong and bought me these goodies!

Just by looking at the gifts, it's obvious he knows me well. Thank youuuu dear! heart

My favorite. Say hi to my new Hello Kitty 'Circus of Life' Magician edition, from Hong Kong!

To end this week on a more serious note, I'm currently in talks about making a very crucial decision. One step closer to my goals. (But I really can't disclose anything yet as of now)

A girl can only dream, yes. But my dreams will not work itself towards me. It is I, who should first be unafraid to take risks and plunge into the depths armed with a level head and no regrets.

If this is what I really want, then hear this from me – I will make it happen.

Yes, I believe in dreams, no doubt.

I believe dreaming gives you, albeit an altered sense of reality, a strong desire and visions of happiness and success. When one dreams big, one harbours omething to look forward to. A motivation, an inspiration and a drive to work hard towards that very dangling carrot.

Without dreams and goals, one will be more likely to just fleet aimlessly in the wind.

As Eleanor Roosevelt, former First Lady of the United States, once said,

"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams".

Pure hard work, dedication, commitment and determination. This are what dreams are made of.

And I'll get there.

Much love,

kissJessicat

The Sunday Times XXIX: Sights, sounds, adventures & eats! My week in a flash ♥

June 30, 2013 by thejessicat

I'm back from Penang! Yes, again. LOL

And no, I don't travel back and forth every week. It just so happens that I did again this weekend.

My Superman says hello.

Also, I'm so thankful that the haze epidemic has finally subsided!

It was beginning to take a toll on everyone (especially Singaporeans) and I even experienced a little shortage of breathing.

Woke up one Sunday morning to this.

Konzy bought a mask for us just in case. Made a Keek video about the haze too!

Jun 24, 2013 | The #haze in KL #Malaysia is getting from bad to worse! I'm smelling #smoke, dust and ashes even indoors! by imthejessicat on Keek.com

I don't know what got into us, but we decided to go to Port Klang to celebrate my cousin's birthday.

For those not in the know, Port Klang was officially the suburb with the worst haze condition, according to the Air Pollutant Index (API). Couzzie Colin returned from New Zealand and was adamant on having Klang seafood no mater what LOL. surprise

Oh well. *shrugs*

No matter, at least I got to reunite with couzzie Colin whom I've not seen since I was a kid of nine.

Briefly meeting each other when we were both drop dead drunk two years ago does not count as a reunion!

And ultimately, we got to eat delicious, fresh seafood too.

Klang is touted as THE MUST-GO PLACE for seafood here. It was my first time that night!

Don't even get me started on what we ordered at Restoran Ah Lee!

Ok, fine, I'll try.

I think, to my best memory, we had two different types of giant crabs (marmite and spicy), hot Grouper fish soup, prawns, two different types of clams (garlic and marmite), yam and dried chili frogs (also known as "spring chicken' to the Chinese).

Came home to see my furkid perched on the kitchen counter.

That ass, son. That ass.

Saturday saw me attending the finale of the UBER DJ competition by UBER.MEN at Zouk Club KL.

The final four contestants!

I was so blown away by DJ Marshall (left).  He had the talent, the attitude and versatility to boot!

After the event was over (DJ Marshall and DJ Wicked proceeded to the grand finals!), I realized that I was so glad to be invited that night. smiley

Half expecting to watch a bunch of newbies work the turntables with mediocre skills, I was proven so, so wrong. Attending tonight's event made me see that there was really so much more to DJing than just standing there "posing with headphones", "pressing some buttons" and "looking cool".

So many technicalities, sequencing, effects, mixing, vibe and actual skills were required to emerge as tonight's winner. I learnt about techniques like beat balancing and scratching.

The term "anybody can be a DJ" coined by people who don't know the field of expertise any better must be exiled! LOL

Allow me to digress.

Likewise, the similar verbal diarrhoea by the uninformed saying "anybody can be a photographer", "anybody can be a blogger" and "anybody can be a model". Why don't you try think of it in a strictly professional sense, put it into practice and see how you fare?blush

Anybody can be a janitor? No, I absolutely cannot. Can you?

With your logic, it's just like saying aybody can be an astronaut. What? All they have to do is to put on a funny suit with a fishbowl on their heads and walk on foreign planets, float around the milkyway and probably say hello to aliens. What? Sounds easy, doesn't it?

Call me a spaceman then.

So, no. Not simply "anybody" can be "anything". There's always more to a profession that is unbeknownst to people outside of a given industry and there are always people who are bad at the job and others who are thriving in the career ladder; superceding others.

My thoughts and seriousness aside, here are some photos of my friends and I at the event! laugh

Us again. Girls' night out!

Bought new sunglasses. Loved them to bits! heartheart

'

Isn't it pretty? But guess what? I lost them over the weekend in Penang. BUMMER.

Potong stim, tau? Dahlah beli spek baru mahal sangat, manatau, belum sempat nak gunakan puas2 hilang pulak.

Time for another party! Samsung Malaysia and Manoah threw a splendid dinner party at The Pool KL.

I was glad to be invited, and did not hesitate to join in the fun! smiley

Arrived!

Greeted to such a lovely table setting!

There was this really cool instant photobooth by InstaMedia

Check out all the awesome photos it printed out for me! heart

I loved them so much.

A closer look laugh

Everyone was busy mingling around and catching up over the delicious buffet spread!

It was lovely to meet up with most of my blogger and social media buddies again.

Gym face Wednesday.

With Ash at the gym on Thursday! Nail that T-Bar row.

Extra hours of TRX suspension training this week!

Ready for some post-workout meals? laugh

Tuna chunks and scrambled egg with onions, garden peas, thyme and coarse black pepper on wholemeal toast.

Garden pasta: Organice centellini, flax, brocolli, scrambled eggs, beans and cauliflower

My adapted version of Ronnie Coleman's breakfast

Scrambled eggs (whites to yolk ratio 3:1) with chia seeds, flax,

organic tofu and tuna fish with a dash of balsamic vinegar!

Lunch to-go! Brought tuna mashed with kidney beans, cabbage, grapefruit and wholemeal bread.

Simple quick fix one afternoon – Garden peas, scrambled eggs, flax, quinoa, onions, black pepper and tuna

This doesn't qualify but I thought it looked funny cheeky

Attended Club Asahi Miami in Soju Room, Penang Times Square too.

Full blog coverage – here!

I took some time to soak up the sun by the pool in my hotel at Northam All-Suites Penang.

And had delicious, Penang food!

I've always been so proud of my little island and its gastronomic pleasures!

We're in the second half of the year now, are you halfway achieving your new year resolutions that you made with such raging spirit at the beginning of the year? If not, this is your wake up call! cheeky

Oh and, it's my birthday tomorrow wheee!

Much love,

End of the world? I died but I’m back – survivor of the apocalypse! Nope, it’s Halloween 2012 at Skull Island @ Zouk Club KL!

December 24, 2012 by thejessicat

One of the most memorable (yet highly nonsensical!) things I'll never forget about 2012 is the incessant, unnecessary buzz about how the world will come to an end on the 21st of December 2012.

Who are you fooling, really?

Believe it, if you must. The end-of-the-world apocalypse was torturous… but I made it out alive.

How about you?

It is beyond me how moronic the world can be, for taking the prediction of the Mayans so seriously, spreading this prophecy like wildfire, sharing sappy posts on every social media channel possible about their impending last day on earth

Doomsday you say? I shrugged it off the moment I first heard a breath of it.

Anyway, the point of this post today isn't about the ridiculous end-of-the-world shebang, but rather… to share how I celebrated Halloween 2012.

Decorations came in abundance by the week of Halloween!

This enormous pumpkin was taken at one of the concourses of 1 Utama, while I was waiting for Konzy to buy his Halloween outfit :D:D

Lot's of choices at costume/party shops It was pretty last minute, but turned out great!

My gym, Celebrity Fitness had their fair share of fun doing up Halloween decor at the towel shelves too

The moment we got home in the evening, I got straight down to business.

Dressing up and giving myself a bloody, ghoulish makeover  The result?

Since this is an incredibly rare occasion I managed to finish getting ready before he does, I had some extra time to selca until he was done.  ;)

Wore a wig & stabbed myself in the head with a kitchen knife too

LOL How do you like it?

I'm that girl from your nightmares.

You might have seen this on my Facebook & Instagram

After almost an hour, he's finally finished preparing for the night! :D

Took longer than I expected, since he had to cut open his robe, slash it and stitch it back.

Hello! Meet Ghostface and the Fallen Angel. How do you do?

When the rest of our partycrew for the night were ready, we took a one way trip down to Zouk Club KL!

Let's tear up the bloody night!

With bestiePam during the ride

Three of us at the back!

We arrived Skull Island @ Zouk Club KL by midnight

Great how they went all out with the decorations!

Almost all the ground staff of Zouk were dressed as pirates. :D

There were fire-twirlers, fire-eaters, fire-breathers & snake enchanters dressed in pirate gear too!

One of the pyromaniacs in action

Mingled outside at the patio with many fellow partygoers who were all dressed up as various characters.

Photos soon ensued. Being strangers doesn't quite stop us from taking photos with one another!

Extremely tall pirate men in stilts and I!

Cuban Prime Minister Fidel Castro (I think?), werewolf in chains with Konzy and I

The said fire-breather and I!

And of course, my one and only date for the Halloween night. Mr Ghostface LOLOL

So are we ready to ravage Halloween like never before?

Kon and I wanted to bar-hop around all 5 of the party-chambers of Zouk.

First stop: Phuture!

Us girlies!

The boys!

It was extremely crowded, which proved impossible for us to dance nor even squeeze through the sardine-packed crowd. For those not in the know, Phuture plays mainstream, contemporary pop, RnB and the American Top 40 chart toppers.

Not exactly up my alley anymore, but hey, I used to be a fan of those genres in my late teens LOL

Next stop : Mainroom!

Our resident DJs were dressed up too! I think they were: a nun, jesus and a friar

The music was a lot more to my cup of tea. Mainroom plays a mix of electronic dance music, such as trance, house, electro, dubstep, big room, progressive and more.

I had heaps of fun there headbanging and jumping non-stop! To those that accidentally got their clothes caught on the feathers of my wings, I'm sorry! :D

Our partycrew for the night!

That's also when my date and someone else's date of the

same kind found each other and "cheated" on us HAHA

Third stop: Velvet Underground!

This room plays mambo jambo, contemporary and good remixes of blasts from the past

Thanks for the photo, Jaz!

Didn't take much photos, as we were too busy partying on an equally packed dancefloor!

Next stop: Barsonic!

One of my two most favourite rooms of Zouk, Barsonic plays more underground, harder bass, techno, hardstyle, drum and bass, jumpstyle and more.

Mr. Nasty and GanjaGuru (dressed as Jigsaw from SAW)!

The room saw Halloween revellers dressed to impress! Or should I say, to scare, in this context?

We made plenty of new friends and captured some more memories!

Anyone wants their hedges trimmed? We have Edward Scizzorhands in the house :P

We partied hard with some Japanese kimono girls and a chef with a severed hand!

Didn't make it to the final room, Aristo

It was already 4AM and we were beginning to feel a tad too woozy for our own good.

Another great night to add to the crazy Halloween parties I celebrate every year!

Till next year, all you ghouls, vampires, draculas, demons, zombies, souls, devils & monsters!

May the undead arise from the underworld to party once again!

The Sunday Times XI: Sights, sounds, adventures & eats! My week in a flash ♥

December 2, 2012 by thejessicat

Sunday is over and I've just finished half a jar of chunky peanut butter.

I'm a tad impressed by my urge to snack, especially at midnight LOL

So… what rocked my week?

The pinnacle is most certainly the fact that I won 'Best Dressed' in Samsung Malaysia's Super Sweet BFF Hello Kitty party! *throws confetti*

This came down as quite pleasant surprise if I do say so myself!

I was gobsmacked when I was nominated. My name was called out as a finalist and finally, a winner.

Just me impersonating Hello Kitty for the afternoon.

It may be just a menial fashion award to some, but to me, I was over the moon :D

I think it's due to the sad fact that I've never really had much luck in terms of winning anything during events. I'm an absolute ill-omen at Lucky Draws/Lucky Dips; till a point that I've stopped harbouring so much as a glimmer of hope when numbers are being drawn out ;(;(

So yes, I'm overwhelmed. Really. Thank you, dear judges and Samsung Malaysia for my lovely prize of a Samsung Galaxy Y Limited Edition Hello Kitty smartphone!

At the Super Sweet BFF party with bestieJoyce

*Full blogpost soon!*

Apart from the above party, my last seven days kept me busy. Was out and about, as usual. I appreciate my off-days where I'm not frantically rushing one deadline after another or darting to one event venue to another.

Don't get me wrong, I do enjoy what I do. Just… whenever things begin to take its toll on you, all you want is just to be whisked away to paradise for a day where nothing requires your absolute commitment, solid attention nor expects anything of you.

I guess I just (sometimes) miss my me-time

Monday. Where am I off to?

The start of the week (while I was still recovering from my bout of fever) saw me attending A Cut Above's charity gala ball : A Musical Evening for the Children at the Grand Ballroom of Sunway Hotel Resort & Spa.

I had a wonderful time at this event of love, kindheartedness and goodwill. It was my greatest pleasure to support this philantropic initiative by A Cut Above. They managed to raise more than RM300K for their efforts!

Charity begins at home. But it mustn't stop there.

One rainy evening proved to be worth enduring the insane traffic jams to the city.

I was totally sold upon laying eyes on some gorgeous timepieces of various European make. It was my honour to hold them in the palm of my hand (very gently, mind you!! Each one of them costs a few grand!) and wear them for the night.

Attended the private wine & dine function of Red Army Watches Malaysia

What's a week without some food-hunting?

Here are some of my top picks this week

Lunchdate with bestiePam at Manhattan Fish Market @ E@Curve

Fully recommended: We shared a platter for two – loving the whole flame-charred tiger prawns!

Lunchdate with bestieJoyce at Malone's Irish Restaurant & Bar @ Pavilion KL!

I recommend the Stuffed Chicken Breast with Mushroom, which was what I ordered and loved

She enjoyed her Chicken Crepe Roll but it was too sweet for my liking

Weekends soon crept in and it can only spell P-A-R-T-Y for most of us looking to let our hair down.

Might as well go crazy over some drinks, loud music, bass-thumping beats and of couse, the company of your partymates while we still can ;)

My rave kakis. Someone's missing, ey?

Unfortunately, bestiePam was really tired that Friday and slept through it all! :/

Attended Showtek's techno/harstyle rave in Zouk Club KL

The weather today showed no mercy as it didn't stop pouring; not one bit!

I took this as the perfect chance to sleep in – the cool morning breeze lulled me back to dreamland quite instantly! It really has that effect on me

The other half and I didn't go far for food today, we opted for some pub grub at our neighbourhood German bar, Deutsches Gasthaus!

Clockwise L-R: Pigs in a Blanket, Honey-Rum Chicken & Moroccan Chicken

(excuse the poor quality of the photograph, pub lighting can be inadequate!)

The food was simple & delicious for regular pub fare and kept me satiated me for a good full day.

Definitely somewhere I'd go back to eat again if I didn't feel like eating out too far

And that's my week in a nutshell.

As I said in my previous edition of The Sunday Times, tardiness won't be part of my blogging schedule anymore. I shall dedicate the whole of December to clear off ALL my backlog. Let the memories roll! So don't be surprised if you see blogposts of stuff which happened several months or years ago

Heh. Guilty as charged, but never too late to rectify things. Have a great week ahead dearest readers!

Much love,

 Jessicat
