Today is the first day of Hari Raya!

You’ve successfully endured a whole holy Ramadan month of puasa (fasting) and now it’s time to give yourselves a pat on the back!

I’d like to dedicate this post to wishing all my Muslim friends and blog readers alike a Selamat Hari Raya.

Here’s an e-card that I’ve just finished designing from scratch. Hope you like it!

Meanwhile, allow me to enjoy my long weekend thanks to the Public Holidays, indulge in delicious traditional Malay food at Hari Raya open houses and secretly gleam at my duit raya this year.

I’m now back in Penang and last night’s midnight roadtrip was especially smooth, without a single trace of traffic congestion on the North-South highway at all – to my surprise!

Looks like all those celebrating have already made their way home to balik kampung early!

Semoga sampai ke destinasi masing-masing dengan selamat

dan menikmati Eid Mubarak dengan orang-orang yang terdekat.

I do sincerely hope all fellow Malaysians, no matter what race or religion, embrace the spirit of  this festive season together. I certainly am! P/S I’ve just had a delicious plate of Rendang Ayam for lunch.

Wouldn’t mind another!

Speaking of Raya festivities, here’s something I’d like to share:
