Today, I'm wearing black with a yellow ribbon in full support of World Press Freedom Day. Are you? 🙂

Before you say anything, yes I know I look really weird with blonde streaks in my hair.

Will return with my trademark red hair shortly! 🙂

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights states:

"Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression;

this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference,

and impart information and ideas through any media regardless of frontiers"

Press freedom = your freedom

and it should be uncensored! 

LOL when I wished all my fellow journalism students a 'Happy World Press Freedom Day', other people misheard and thought I said "HAPPY WORLD BREASTFEEDING DAY". I laughed so hard. Haha!

Try it – say Happy World Press Freedom Day real fast, and you might hear Happy World Breastfeeding Day yourself 😛

Sorry for getting your hopes up, kid. But it's really not World BREASTFEEDING Day 🙁
