But heck, this is my 4th time as the girl with red streaks.
Your red-head author is back once more!
Since Jess the red-head is back after quite some time, I might as well make a new avatar for myself no? ^_^
I introduce you, LiL benjicajess :
I fink my brain has turned red already.
LOL
To date, I’ve re-done my hair crimson red 4 times. Which is enough to make me a red-red for a good consecutive 3 years now. Having my trademark incarnadine streaks made me feel my attitude churning deep within.
I know I’ve done many crazy stuff with my hair and chopping it off each time it grows long and heck, never seem to be bored of it.
Though I’m not as extravagantly bold as others who wore their hair in bright green or a fluorescent yellow, I think my hair escapade is a lot for me to handle.

Anyway, here I am before the procedure in the Loreal Studio hair salon.
Thanks to my college senior Jolyn, she recommended me to it.
Right, say goodbye to my current hair which reigned for 5 months.
*braces self* WHOOOOPEDOOOO!!!
It was great to have a partner there with me. Thank goodness she was there, she helped translate Mandarin to English for me whenever the hair stylist spoke.
Woots! These were the colours I had chosen. I specifically requested for the hair stylist to burn my hair with red ONLY at the ends and tips. For the other parts of my hair, I asked for it to be dyed dark purple/aubergine.

LET IT ROLL!!!
You would know when you camwhore too much when your memory card yells a :
MEMORY FULL.
PLEASE DELETE FILES
at you.
Ahh, after a simple hit of ‘format memory card’, I flirted with my camera again all morning. I like this picture because the shaded rays of the sun made my hair look purplish instead of deep red.
It was in the morning ffs.
Laugh. Go ahead.
All you want. Hmmph.
XD
Ok randomly, I will reenact my previous habit of camwhoring in the car. Trust me, if you did your head red you’d prolly find more sunshine to camwhore in as well. heh.
Holla to all gurls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(and certain guys)
Raise your hands! Make some noise!
I bet lotsa gurls camwhore in the fitting rooms, be it with their friends or alone. =)
Wheeeee.. here are a few snapshots when I was on my shoppin spree. I just didn’t realize that I had so many fitting room camwhore piccies!

OMFG I miss my long hair Hmm.. but it’s already growing =)
Lovin the top – bought it immediately!
Matched my red highlights back then though
=)
Strangely, one random day, bestie Rach and I went crazy and bought so many camisoles and tiny keychains for us and our friends
Sometimes, I KNOW I don’t wear certain kinds of styles but by trying it on in the fitting room, it’ll give you an idea of how you’d look like in public. So take a look :

In this humid Malaysian weather, you NEVER see me in a trenchcoat
(i’m not Sherlock Holmes thank you very much)
^_^

Corporate look anyone?
ahahaha.. bestie Joyce and I were tryin them on
to prepare for our presentations the next day
And yeah, most of the time, I wasn’t alone as you can see =)

Mum & I trying on stripes in Liz Clairborne
Benjie & I in TopShop last year
Bestie Rach and I in Forever 21
So… ermmm
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE okie? okie? okie?
haahaahaha
I’ll keep it safe here :
my previous white wallet, currently a black one
(but the steel keychain stays and never changes!)
AHAHAHAHAA. I bet I should more or less be one of the last people to post on the nuffies’s Mama Mia screening in GSC Gurney Plaza. =)
However, I didn’t go for the movie despite wanting to soso much.
Exams can be a pain in the you-know-where.
Anyway, I made it a point to head to Gurney Plaza after exams on Monday night; right after my revisions for the next paper. Wanted to meet up Wenzi & Diese so much! But Wenzi was busy eating dinner and Diese was breaking her fast when I arrived. So… it’s Dance Dance Revolution in the arcade for me and boyfie while waiting.
Guess who I met also?

nuffies & shouters : JJ, CharlesKey & I
Yup, met them just outside the cinema.
Aishehhh JJ looks so smart in the striped shirt & Charles looks so cool in that bomber jacket thingy. Why, of course they look extra nice! Today is the day where everybody meets inside the cinema!
(of which I had to miss)
=(
Well, I’m glad I wasn’t the only Penang nuffie missing it.
Ceddy dear didn’t plan to attend it as well, but whilst walking around,
WE MET!
(psst: Look at him! Ain’t Ceddy the sweetest thing?)
Oh and btw, mission acomplished. I did meet up Wenzi & Diese. I had to storm to Kim Gary where the former was still in the middle of his dinner. Diese, Baynn and I met n chatted for a short while on the 7th floor.
wheeee at least we met!
But waaaaaiiiit a minute. I just recalled that I’ve met Wenzi before!
yes! I snapped a picture of him too!
… together with AlvinHaagenDaaz as well over supper at Northam Beach. I remember all of us sharing a plate of Satay when I ordered.
HAHA

To digress a little, boyfie & I have always thought of buying a pair of Crocs despite acknowledging that it is the ugliest looking thing on Planet Shoewear.
But.. the question still remains, why do people still buy and wear it around like it’s the hottest thing on earth?
I wonder.
Fashion Fads.
Could we do without them? We’ve had great fashion trends coming and going, from the all favorite street style to even extremities like the Visual Kei fashion.
does it stop there?
We’re constantly revolving into a cyber-based world, so must our fashion sense! And yes, that night was spectacular indeed. Another ICT fair perhaps?

It was a night to remember. I reached there early to program my camera so that the settings were perfect to capture this indoor event. Thankfully, there was a live band performing so I wasn’t so bored.
I wasn’t bored also because bestie Rachel had accompanied me all the way to Autocity as well. Thanks babe
Presenting to you, a one of a kind experience I’ve had in terms of fashion trends…
CYBER Gen. FASHION
My very first time encoutering such fashion and make-up.
I was in awe half the time… haahaaha
Imagine Star Wars-meets-BattleStar Galactica, where the style and fads can only be described in one word and ONE word only
– FUTURISTIC
And much credit goes to Malaysia’s pioneer in CyberFashion, Mr. Hideaki H.
I’ll do the honours of introducing him to you, one of the leading fashion designers in our country :
It was fabulous working and talking to Mr. Hideaki, he’s one heck of a jovial fellow! Together with his two assistants (I couldn’t catch their names) as well, we got along very fast. They have such dramatic humour!
It was an experience for me to watch intently backstage, at how meticulous those CyberMake-Up artists dolled up the models; all in close proximity!
It is different than how make-up is usually caked onto their faces – they use mostly silverish tones of eyeshadow to give it the robotic & modernistic effect
Some of their hair were sprayed stiff to look as though they were defying gravity… and silverish blue strands of hair extensions were used on certain models to portray the futuristic image. (you will see them soon enough)

When midnight struck, the show began with a spectacular opening!
Nice figures all in a line
A masquerade to disguise identity?
Mr. Hideaki was busy sprucing the models up before each and every round. Such passion put into his fine works
All the models had many rounds to do, as there were so many designs to parade down the stage. So, it’s no wonder certain models may look particularly flushed and exhausted.
Special thanks goes to my boss, Miss Priscilla Selan.
She’s a great person to work with, and gosh she was so stressed – hustling & bustling all over the place during the event! But.. in the end, it was all good ey, Pris? =)
Towards the end of the night, tokens of appreciation were then given out to the people that helped make the event a success – a pretty bouquet of flowers!
and finally, to the star of the show…….. *drumroll*
My warmest & greatest extent of congratulations to you, Mr. Hideaki
Have a safe flight back and I hope you like the complete set of photographs I’ve burned for you Cheers!

ahh.. that’s Mr. Hideaki admist his models & Cyber creations
Another great thing was, I got to stand beside the DeeJays at their turntable and consoles!
Truthfully, I’ve never stood beside the DJs while they’re spinning tracks before cos no one is actually allowed. heh =)
All in all, i was glad to have played a role in this fashion showcase event and to have contributed my services to the team and it’s crew. For glory like this, it IS a moment to be captured on camera!
Oh, hello there!
