the holidays in Singapore has been a blast – and I’m enjoying every moment of it!!
However, lotsa things has been happening.. but I choose this story to share with you dear readers first.
As everyone knows,
Jessie is a tragedy in the kitchen:
BUT who says Jessie can’t bake?
One fine afternoon, Yi Ling and I headed down for some groceries and being undomesticated goddesses at heart, we strangely had the urge to bake something for the fun of it.
Buying the ingredients for our lil warm cookout, we decided to bake not only cookies but walnut brownies and biscotti as well! AND :
Hmmm… Konyaku Jelly!
Mangos? Check
Apples? Check
Pears? Check
We began mixing the ingredients according to the recipie and instructions, hoping not to get anything wrong. >_<
Hmm.. good thing all of us has baked a couple of times before! Phew! That decreases the chances of setting the whole kitchen on fire, no? LOL
=(
LOL SHUDDUP DON’T LAUGH
I know already one person in particular is gonna laugh at me
AHHAAHA finefine XP
The colour coordination was pretty interesting too; all by coincidence!
While waiting for all our hard work to be ready from the oven, we made some pasta and dipped it into dark chocolate fondue!!
Darn, the fondue was supposed to be saved for the fruits but ohwells. ROFL
Nothing much will be saved with gluttons like us in the kitchen!
Peaches in warm dark chocolate fondue!!
Anywhoos, we waited and waited and waited in anticipation to welcome our Chocolate Walnut Brownies to the world !!!! (and then eat it alive)
However, everything didn’t only go as smooth sailing as it’s supposed to be.
An Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) landed in YiLing’s kitchen and down came a huge meteorite from outer space right into her oven!
Check it out!
or one of the craters on the moon!
All in all, we had sucha fun and warm bake-out which includes so much laughter, fun and experience!
what could be better?
xoxo~*
