Ya know, the strangest thing is that I can’t seem to concentrate on my revisions despite the fact that my effing exams are effing tomorrow!!

So, this is one of my random bites whilst (I’m supposed to be) studying.

Mom bought me a muffin to eat for tea-time and you know how muffins usually look like right?

Yup, such splendid muffins to tingle your tastebuds. But what kind of muffin did I get for tea time just 5 mins ago?
I couldn’t help but to laugh my arse off when I saw it :

Oh well, looks like the poor cat, dog and snake ate it and it further mutated in their stomachs.

Just like my team mates, I’ve never been forsaken of that privilege before. So, this is the perfect chance. During one of our Consumer Behaviour tutorial classes, we were asked to venture out around Penang in groups of four….

So yeah, we were the 2nd group to charter the Rapid Penang bus. And trust me, the wait was friggin’ long!! We sat there for 45mins to be exact. Gosh… even the trishaws and cabbies came and gone except our designated bus.

So we chatted, joked around and bullshitted (and camwhored) till the bus came. And Melvin yawned 4 times during the wait. Yes, I noticed. =P Guess what, he yawned roughly around 9times during the entire ride.

But when we FINALLY entered the bus, it was crammed like sardines. Gawd knows how many people were in the bus; and thank God for the creation of deodorants. wakakkakaakkaakkaka

But when everyone was so uncomfortable in that hot and stuffy bus, others were snoozing away in dreamland.. with all his groceries from the morning market!

Despite the jam-packed bus situation, we managed to dig out our notebooks, pens and began to write our observations and opinions. The crowd died down eventually and we finally grabbed a seat

I interviewed 5 people in total and among them was a couple from Johannesburg and a guy from Poland! It was interesting to discover what they thought of bus rides in Penang. All the opinions varied… oh, it was tough writing properly in a bus!

When our journey ended, it was time to ride the next bus back to college.

We almost missed the bus OMFG. Joyce & I ran out of the coffee shop.
So much for our Iced Milo! =/

During the journey, I caught sight of the ‘No Standing’ area of the bus and naturally, I stood there. =P

Apart from being bored to death in the bus ride home, there were many other interesting things I noticed. Things that even go waaayyyy down to the floor!

Riding a bus made me realise how much some of us are blessed with the privilege of having our own mode of transport to head to all our intended destinations…. without any inconveniences

Now that we’re done with THE GOOD, let’s move on.

THE BAD.

What could wear a bad hat in KDU? I’m sorry and I hate to be a critic, but the award for THE BAD in KDU would be its bad service in Bon Appetit on a particular day.

I’m not saying this in general – this judgement is only based on ONE dining experience. My friends and I have dined in Bon Appetit numerous times and overall, we are pleased with the service. Good Job peeps!

but.. but.. WHAT IS THIS?

When we were having our meals and chattering away, the waitress came and poured ice-cold water in Joyce’s unfinished Ribena drink.

1. Without even asking if she wanted a refill
2. AND it was water. h2o!!

So, it became a mixture of:
water+ribena = pink icky-looking drink

Imagine drinking Milo halfway and then suddenly
someone poured a full glass of plain water into it.

I mean, come on. If she wanted to refill Joyce’s glass, she should have either poured Ribena (instead of cold water) OR wait until Joyce finished drinking her Ribena (so it won’t be a mixture)

No other options.
Can you think of any? =)
