Ben, Phat Phabes and Nadia came outta their limousine to be welcomed by cheers after cheers. Hey, Ima fan of Fly.fm too and I’m lovin their on-air personality. It’s amazing how one can have such chirpy attitude every early weekday morning.
They were nominated for the Best Radio Show award… AND WON IT!

I was with my buddies YingYang & Nigel at the start of this glorious event. Making our way through the insane number of the jostling crowd, we managed to stand directly beside the red carpet.
The next to arrive the scene was Joe Flizzow. My only recollection of him was when Too Phat was established. Flizzow and Malique had me wannabe rapping to my CD player!

He was in the running with the other nominees for the Flava Award… AND WENT HOME WITH THAT TITLE! Congrats yo! “Real hip-hop makes the world go round!”

They were one of the nominees for the Rockstar Award and guess what? They proved themselves worthy to those Rock Gods and went home with the title! Grats to ya’ll.

The next limo brought them to the red carpet. I just love the both of them. This takes me back to the days of Malaysian Idol series! Marion happens to be my high school senior too. We GreenLane Convent girls are rockin it, babeh! Likewise for Nicol David. Woots!
Marion was nominated for the Hot Chick award along with other contestants like Andrea Fonseka, Daphne Iking and the rest. And ta-da…. I’m so proudda her (and I bet our alma mater is too) COS SHE TOOK HOME THAT AWARD!

Anyway, I was standing so near the Red Carpet until Nigel saved my head from being whooped by the panning overhead video camera.

Ohgoodness me. Ain’t Paul the cutest thing ever? While doing some itsy bitsy research on him, I discovered that there was even this Paul Moss Fan Club going on. Wowza!

I guess this dude has a hoard of fans at his back yelling and shrieking his name even waaaaay before he arrived. When he finally did though, the piercing screams were beyond decibel measurements to be deemed safe.

Believe me, I was shocked to see how crazy those girls were over him. A fan asked for his autograph and bore the most starstruck smile ever throughout the process. When he finished, she melted and screamed, “OHHHH MYYY GAWWWDDD” to her friends.

It was really dim and there were already so many people camping out on the floor beside the stage. All in hopes of getting a good view of the performances later.
Note that it was an hour before anything began
Whilst making my way to dash to another event, I bumped into many of my old friends. It’s great to see them again after so long!
