Reeaaalllllyyy Really Simple Syndication (RSS) now on iTalk WHOA! Subscriptions now easier, woots!

Tuesday, November 2nd, 2010

Heyhey loves! I just got out of the Examination Hall for my 1st Final Exam paper this semester.

Was so devoid of time that I think my handwriting became more and more illegible as the pages turn. Sigh!

Anyway, this just in! I Foun out that there’s some new updates for the iTalk WHOA gizmo that I’ve been talking about previously here, here and here. Guess what? They have RSS feeds now! :D

With RSS feeds, you can get news feeds and updates on any topics of your interest. It’s like super fast and easy. Much like your servant feeding you grapes in a bubbly bathtub :P

yeah THAT simple. Yummy ain't it?

You don’t even have to check or be on the lookout on what’s coming.

IT. JUST. COMES. *wiggles eyebrows*

Whenever your RSS feed is updated, you’ll receive a headline, a short summary and a link back to the full text if you wanna read more :D Just like how all feeds are supposed to be.

How does it benefit you?

• If you have been worried about giving your name and email address to subscribe to any newsletter, the RSS feed in iTalk Whoa!does not require you to do so. No more e-mails and no spams too. Your privacy is assured.

• You will get updates automatically on your iTalk Whoa’s account.

• For those who have got used to bookmarking pages, this is no longer necessary.

• If you are a content owner or publisher, you are able to distribute your contents without being sent to the junk folder.

Anyway, let’s cut to the chase :D
So this is how your main portal looks like once you’re innit right?

Then, create a new group above like this!

Type in a category name for the website you want feeds from. Ya know the drill, Entertainment, Parenting, News, Blogs or whatever.

Once you’re done, it’ll appear on the right side like this!

See your new 'News' category? :D

Now, to put any info into your newly created categories, all ya gotta do is to get the RSS feed that you want to gather.

Go to any website of your choice, and click on the    icon.

Like for example, if you go to The Star online newspaper, click on the RSS icon I just mentioned and copy the URL of the section you wanna subscribe to.

Say…Sports?

There ya go, type Sports and paste the URL of the Sports feed you copied just now

Tadaaa! You’ve just added your new feed :D

So yeah, whenever you feel bored or anything… just check on your feeds and you’ll have them all in just one look.

Makes life so much easier yo!

Told ya so! Hehe :D

So go try it for yourselves!
Anything ya don’t know or have probs with, just shoot me with a question. I’ll try to help you configure it! In the meantime, knock yourself out with it okay!

I've gotta go hit the books now for my 2nd and 3rd paper coming up real soon. Wish me luck! *sniff ;(

Happy Halloween 2010! Of freaky pumpkin carvings, a Wasabi challenge & unlocking the Foursquare Spooky Swarm badge!

Saturday, October 30th, 2010

Hey hey I'm still here! :D

Yes eventhough my finals are what, 2 days away, I kinda still need to work my fingers and mind here for a bit and also to have you peeps still spellbound reading my verbal diarhoea all the time :D Nyehehe. I kid!

So yes, already done with Journalism 2. International Studies will be on Tuesday, Media Culture Power next week and finally, Media Text 2 days after that.

AND I'D TASTE THE SCHWEEEEET SMELL OF FREEDOM!

for the time being.

Also, Happy Halloween to all of you freaks out there freakier than me :P

Here is a freaky collection of pumpkin carvings which my mom forwarded to me. Just thought Imma share it with yall!

and my favorite one ever!

OBAMA OBAMAAAAA!

I guess the president extends his wishes too.

Happy Halloween America! :D

SO YES, I SPENT MY HALLOWEEN STUDYING MY BRAIN OFF! T__T THANK YOU VERY MUCH THAT'S FREAKY ENOUGH OF A HALLOWEEN FOR ME. SIGH.

Oh and guess what!

In conjunction with Halloween, Foursquare has some awesome badges to be unlocked.

Check out the ones I've unlocked recently :)

Sigh. With all the hype, I guess this year is my 1st year stemming my streak of dressing up and partying down on All Hallows Eve.

Check out what I was up to during Halloween 2007, 2008 and 2009

Before I go, I will leave you with a video of my housekeeper challenging us to a Wasabi Challenge.

Apparently, she failed her own challenge LOL

Evidently, she's not having a good time :P

But I'm sorry, you're really barking up the wrong tree. When it comes to anything spicy or hot, I rank first from the bottom.

It always takes me 5 seconds MAX before I end up having hot flushes, tears, runny nose and get soaking wet from perspiration :( Even the help of ice-cold water and tissue paper is proven futile. T__T

ANYWAY

It's always funny how people are always so psyched planning their activities after exams even BEFORE exams begin. So anyways, here's a snippet of my to-do list after the academic hurdle of 2010 is over :D

1. Zouk Out 2010 @ Sentosa, Singapore!

Tiesto, David Guetta and Afrojack, Top few DJs in the world will be partying with all of us in this 12 hour rave beach party.

I won't miss it for the world!

2. Dye back my hair red for the.. 9th time :D

3. Meet up with my tattoo artist for another appointment

4. Holliieeee holliieee daaayyyy with the family

Yup yup, that's all I can manage to squeeze in before my attachment at The Star Newspaper begins :)

For my non-Malaysian readers, it's our #1 and leading English daily!

Just received my offer letter via fax yesterday and I just can't wait :D I will be joining The Star's R.AGE (youth) team by the end of next month. Say hello to day job again! I do hope it will be as challenging and interesting – if not better! – as my previous attachments :D Woots

So that's it. A very rare haphazard update – usually only happens when I'm busy to the core :D

Okay back to revisions. Globalization and its Threat to the Nation-States and also The Rise of the Global Economy the topic for today. Bleargh. Dry. I know. And I also *honestly* don't see how it will remotely be of any relevance to my career in the future.

Trick or Treeeeat? :D Toodles!

Exam over! What’s next? Tattoo-ing, partying at Xpax-Xplay, Urbanscapes & 21st birthday bash!

Friday, June 25th, 2010

Feel the sweet kisses of freedom and a taste of exhilaration! :D

After an entire month of nerding till wee hours of the morning, declining party invites, putting myself on a self-containment at home and in the Monash Library, I can finally say I'm back to my normal self now! ;) ;) finally, right? woots!

AAAAAAAAAAAUUUUGHHHHHHHH!! EXAMS ARE OVERRRRRRRRR!! :D :D

Key & Ring necklace by Soak Republic

So what's next on my list?

1. Check out fab artsy fartsy stuff, bazaar shopping & picnic-ing at Urbanscapes 2010!

2. Get 3rd tattoo done on my wrist! Another ink babeh ;) (not gonna tell what it is till ya see it!)

3. Party on uptown penang at Xpax-Xplay in ma fave club there ever, MOIS No.1 Upper Penang Road

4. Plan my 21st birthday bash :D hopefully this year I'll have the chance to remember it unlike getting pissed drunk at last year's

5. Celebrate with the family at San Francisco Steakhouse Ipoh!

6. Celebrate with my best friends & Penang homies in gawd-knows-where! (apparently they're planning so I've no clue lor!)

7.  -space will be updated as and when! there's more things to do!-

and ultimately, more shisha time :D

Aight. Imma go grab some dinner now before tonight's Brazil vs. Portugal showdown with my buddies! :D

PORTUGAL GOGOGO! GO KICK SOME BRAZILLIAN WAXED PUBES OKAY!

Who are you rooting for tonight? :D

*fans self at the sight of C.Ronaldo*

Watching the live streaming of 2010 South Africa FIFA World Cup now! Streamyx please don’t lag on me

Thursday, June 17th, 2010

Yayyyyyyyyy!!!! Greece beat Nigeria to a 2 – 1 !! :D :D :D

I won back the money I lost on last nite's matches

Now show me your sexxayyy pose yaw!

Arrived in Penang today just coincidentally when Korea vs. Argentina began! :D :D

Funny how I was standing by the curb watching it outside Austin Chase, Queensbay Mall upon touching down via Aeroline

hohoho!

Yet another exam, Contemporary Worlds I (International Studies) has just ended today! Brought in 3 ball pens with a quarter ink left and came outta the exam hall with 3 empty pens. Gosh! That's an immense waste of ink like I illustrated on my previous blogpost – no joke!

Random photo taken today on the way back from Uni after exams :)

So it's 3 down, 1 more deadly paper to go! Authorship and Writing next week, now I bet my other Monash seniors who took this subject can quite agree with me that it's a fatal one :( :( oh noes!

ANYWAY

I told myself that if I don't zonk out early today, Imma watch Spain vs Switzerland for the full 90 minutes! :D :D

GO SPAINNNNNNNNNNNNNNN #esp

I'm rooting for Espanyol babehhhhhhh!! Placed down a bet of 50bucks! Hope my predictions are true! Yeah, THAT'S for missing so many matches during the past few days due to exam revisions… bahhh humbug.

Anyway, goddamnit! Switzerland just scored a goal and it's now already down to the last 10 minutes. COME ON SPAINNNNN! DO YOUR THANGGG! Let the Swiss stay famous for their watches alone, don't let it be the same for football!

Oh and from another point of view, here's some funny moments during the Spain vs Switzerland match that I'd like to share :

Ouch. that must've hurt

nasty! But sometimes, I reckon ya gotta fall in style

"I reckon if I stiff my pits 8 times in a row, we'll defeat Switzerland. Fo shizzle!"

Me encanta mi axilas! Vamos a ganar :P :P

Dude, I like your Puma socks.

They're in my favorite color

the Spanish Sergio. 'Nuff said :D :D *shy*

and don't you dare lecture me on my messy desktop!

Thanks to Shitmyx connection, my browser froze and all I got was this scary person

staring back at me in a tiny window for 10 whole minutes

I swear if you fell any further forward you would taste some neat Suisse :P :P

*wink*

It's Bromance time! :D

Let's hold hands tightly and dance around in circles hehe

"I think I just let out gas. Oh that felt good"

Let's hope the photographers behind you think so too, shall we? :D

Another thing I noticed,

Why do all coaches have to look like a typical oscar the grouch?

grumpy in any angle any shot at any given time

And bald too.

It's a must, really. Just like school headmasters

and Indian Malaysian politicians.

(that's a wig if you don't already know) oops.

Anyways, i gotta run! Watching the game now.

PLEASE DO NOT LET ME BE 50 BUCKS POORER

BY THE END OF THE MATCH!!!

Update:

ohnoes. this result doesn't look too well for my wallet

alaaa. Congrats anyway

but I still support your Swiss army watches anytime than your players :P

I reckon the whole world lost a lot of money too after Switzerland's win. BUT COME ON!! Spain lost? For real? No shit? How is this possible? No waaaayyyyyy… to Switzerland, of all countries? That's really strange.

Could it be rigged?
